Above Excellent! You can't really tell a great doctor until there are problems. I developed an infection and swelling a week after surgery. Dr. Hing was outstanding in after care and follow up. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had. If only all doctors were like this. I love my little tummy, he did a wonderful job!!! The office staff are warm and friendly. His direct staff Heidi and Amy do an outstanding job.

This is the most awesome Drs office I have ever dealt with, they are concerned for their patient, want you to get the best results, kind, considerate and always willing to listen and explain things in detail. My tummy tuck was done in December, 2004 and I couldn't be happier. I am approved for the brachioplasty and even though he doesn't participate with BCBS, am considering paying the difference just because they are so good. Thanks Dr. Hing, Heidi and Michelle for your awesome care!

I had such a good experience and result with my tummy tuck from Dr. Hing and his staff, that I will be going back to him for further work on my thighs and arms. I highly recommend Dr. Hing.

I was very nervous about going to a plastic surgeon.Dr. Hing was so professional and so kind and helpful that I was put at ease right away. He was also very careful and found that I had a hernia and helped me find a hernia surgeon(Dr. Kimball-she was wonderful too).I had lost 170 pounds and I had a very deformed looking stomach and even my pubic area looked deformed.Dr.Hing made my whole abdomen look normal.I went out this weekend and shopped and now I am able to fit "normally" into clothes. Dr.Hing, his nurse Heidi, and his assistant Michelle were so helpful and kind every step of the way.The surgery was not as intense as the gastric by-pass.I loved st.Joseph Mercy Hospital-wonderful care.After care by Dr.Hings office was great.He and his staff were very attentive and helped me through each phase of healing.I am so pleased with the results and I am forever grateful to Dr.Hing and his staff for their professionalism, kindness, and patience.Dr.Hing also worked with my insurance company to get approval and he was willing to accept what they would cover for the major part of my reconstruction.If you are nervous about seeing a plastic surgeon--make an appointment with Dr.Hing!

Dr. Hing is extremely competent, personable, patient and availabe-all qualities hard to find in one surgeon. No question was overlooked, no worry left un-reassured or unaddressed, his patience, calmness and sense of humor was always there when you needed it. I have had the chance to compare my abdominoplasty with the work of a number of other people in the area who have used other local plastic surgeons and Dr. Hing's work is so far above in quality that it is astounding! My scars are minimal and already starting to fade only 10 wks out. He worked closely with me on the pain control issues and was very supportive all along the way. I have already scheduled further surgery on my arms with him because he is so good. He is especially skilled with arms, too, bec. he is a hand and carpel-tunnel specialist so knows how to work with those esp. sensitive nerves in the arm and elbow. I'm hoping to do more work down the way with him. I can't say enough good things about my experience with him and his helpful, competent and friedly support staff of Heidi, his nurse and Michelle, his scheduler and billing person. Though a TT is a hard experience to go through. this team made it all worthwhile in the end.

I had WLS 19 months ago & lost 125lbs. and needed to have a TT due to the loose skin afterwards. I consulted 2 different plastic surgeons and Dr. Hing and his staff (Heidi & Michelle) were VERY personable & knowledgable. He was able to assess the problem & he took the time to answer all of my extensive questions. I am VERY impressed by him, he REALLY listens to his patients & I am very pleased with the results I got. He is a true artist. I am so pleased that I am planning on going back to him for further reconstruction surgeries.

I had WLS through the BTC in Ypsi and although I loss a massive amount of weight I was still seeing a large person when I looked in the mirror due to the hanging skin I now had all over my body, I belong to the support group at BTC Ypsi and was amazed to hear and see the results of Dr. Hings work on some of the other members. They couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Hing and his staff. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Hing and was relieved at how caring he and his staff were. Between Dr. Hing, his nurse Heidi and Michelle (who got my insurance approval among other things) I was completely at ease. The consultation went extremely well and I scheduled my surgery for a Tummy Tuck at this time. I am working with Michelle on a thigh lift at this time and hope to have that done before next summer. Just before surgery when I went to see Dr. Hing for my "marking" I decided to take my mother with me to meet with Dr. Hing (since my family is not too supportive of surgery). Was she impressed. Not only did Dr. Hing ask me if I had any questions, he included her also. Dr. Hing took great care and was very precise in his measurings and markings. The surgery went off without a hitch and although I am still recovering- I had my TT April 30, 2003 I am amazed at my new tummy. I couldn't have asked for anything nicer and it is making me realize that all the hard work I have undertaken on my weight loss journey was all worth it. I am still in the follow up stages after my tummy tuck and let me tell you, Dr. Hing and Heidi are the most terrific people I have ever met. They are just as thrilled as I am with my recovery and looks. They have been very encouraging throught the whole process and I have recommended them to other people I know are considering surgery after weight loss. I feel like a new person-and my husband can't believe it either. I highly recommend Dr. Hing and his staff to anyone considering any type of reconstructive surgery and I for one will be returning to him for further reconstruction.
