I would refer Dr. Hing to anyonee that is considering reconstruction surgery. He has an excellent staff that reflecks his professionalism. Dr. Hing has a excellent bedside manner. He is through, very particular, and understanding. He will answer all of your questions and does his best to make sure you understand what he is going to do. He listens to your concerns and treats you with modisty and dignity. On my follow-up visits you are always treated with care and respect. Dr. Hing is an excellent person and physican.

After WLS in Sept. 2005 I lost 117 lbs. I went to Dr Hing's seminar in Kalamazoo and was very impressed at that moment and knew that he was the surgeon for me. He is very professional and took the time to explain everything to me. His work is excellant, I recommend him to everyone. I had the tummy tuck procedure with excellant results, no problems what so ever, I LOVE THE NEW ME !!! I look in the mirror all the time now. I have already scheduled the breast lift procedure next and I know he will do an excellent job then also. I am so excited to let everyone know that I am thrilled with Dr. Hing's work... Everyone in his office is so nice to work with and are very good listeners, I recommend this office very highly !!

Dr. Hing is an exceptional surgeon who knows how to put patients at ease and how to help them achieve the body they are looking for. He is realistic in his approach and tells you up front what results he expects to achieve. He has a kind, friendly demeanor and his staff is very supportive - especially Heidi. They take the time you need to answer all your questions as well as any questions from your spouse or family members, and do what is necessary to make you feel completely comfortable. I had weight loss surgery at BTC almost 4 years ago and lost about 140 lbs. Dr. Hing is very experienced at dealing with reconstruction after weight loss as well and has the sensitivity needed to understand the issues associated with obesity. As a nurse, I am very selective about surgeons and was very impressed with Dr. Hing the first time I saw him at an informational seminar about reconstructive surgery presented at BTC. I am ecstatic about the results from my tummy tuck with vertical extension and lower body lift. I hardly recognize the person in the mirror and couldn't be more pleased. I recommend Dr. Hing to anyone considering any type of reconstructive procedure. There is no other surgeon I would ever consider for future procedures. I would be hard pressed to find anyone as skilled or kind as he, and am glad I don't have to try. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great surgeon on the first try and couldn't be happier with the results.

After losing 100# I was left with an excessive apron of fat and flat, elogated breast. I researched Michigan for a plastic surgeon who specialized in bariatric reconstruction and was highly recommended. I selected Dr. David Hing. Because the recommendations were so outstanding I choose to drive 200+ miles round trip to Dr. Hings office. It has been well worth the effort. Where the bariatric surgery made me feel as though I had been given a 2nd chance at life, with Dr. David Hing's talented reconstruction I feel as if I am a flower - blooming for the first time in my life! Dr. Hing is extremely talent, very kind, compassionate and caring. His Nurse, Heidi and Office Manager, Amy are both wonderful women who were always readily available and willing to assist in whatever I requested. Dr. Hing has a incredible talent. Please do yourself a favor and attend a seminar and speak with Dr. Hing if you are considering reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Hing was very patient in explaining all the different aspects of the surgery. He allowed me to observe different results of the different procedures, and explained how each was done. He was very careful when I explained to him my other medical issues and especially with pain control. The procedures went exactly as he explained and I could not be happier.

My experience with Dr. Hing was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. He explained everything to me, as well as my family. He was always available for questions and always on time in my after visits. He has the hands of an artist. My body went from fat and skin that was extremely "hanging." to a tight and beautiful stomach. His nurse, Heidi, is also wonderful! She is always with the doctor for most surgeries which makes you feel so comfortable. If you call the office with a question, she ALWAYS calls you back very promptly. You can ask many questions, and she answers all of them without making you feel like you asked a dumb quesiton. Dr. Hings, other nurse, AMy, is also wonderful with scheduling and answering questions. This practice of Dr. Hing, Heidi, and Amy as by far the very best that Michigan has to offer.! Thanks to all three of you! :)

I would give Dr. Hing a 5* rating. I am 8 weeks out of surgery and I feel terrific and just as important I look terrific according to all friends and family. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my surgery and would highly recommend Dr. Hing. He is located in the Reichert Bldg. at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.

I would personally like to express my gratitude for the results of my abdominoplasty from Dr. Hing. I had bariatric surgery five years ago and lost over 100 lbs. Along with the weight loss, I had an excessive amount of skin left. I was nervous to undergo surgery and I had several questions. Dr. Hing and his staff not only answered my questions, they gave me complete comfort before and after surgery. After completing the procedure I am totally happy with my results. Before I decided to have RNY surgery I researched plastic surgeons. My research has paid off! If you have chosen Dr Hing you have chosen the very best qualified certified plastic surgeon that I have researched, and I was very diligent in my research. His credentials are impeccable and he is a perfectionist in his art. The first time I came to Dr Hing I cried I told him I was ashamed at what I was left with after loosing 235 pounds. He looked at me and said "that when we were through that I wound never have to be ashamed again in my life." He has not only kept that promise but has exceeded my fondest dreams.
