HOW MANY WAYS CAN YOU SAY WOW/ Dr Anthone was very professional in his appraoch during my consultation. As a health care provider (R.N) I was so impressed with him and his staff on how they treated me the moment i walked in the office. As he explained in great detail the procedure from A to Z, I became more and more confortable in him. Dr Anthone laid out the risks and his expectation of me as a pateint and encourge me to seek other consultation to find what was best for me, He is the man! 08/26/00 just an added comment-since i have been seeking approval and calling his office , i have waited over 2 days to get return call's from his nusre Maria-just not use to that. I expressed how stressful it was, but she was basiclly like yeh, and what? This pre-op process CAN'T be as bad or stressful as post-op!

Dr. Anthone is the best!! I is so gentle and caring; he really understands the obese patient. He is an excellent surgeon; very confident, but not cocky at all. Dr. Anthone is honest and sincere and makes you comfortable always. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is cute too!

Dr. Anthone is wonderful. Honest about the procedure he performs, honest about out-come and possible complications/risks. His nurse Maria was present during the entire consult and was helpful in telling me a realistic time frame for pre-op procedures and surgery, as well as being very knowledgable about the different insurance companies. The office staff was very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Anthone and his associate Dr. Crookes have a support group which meets at USC one a month and has both pre-ops and post-ops. His reputation within the community is stellar (I checked!) and his manner could put anyone at ease.

I met with Dr. Anthone this morning and am very impressed. He is warm, professional and thorough in his explanation of the surgery. I met Maria, his nurse and she too was very friendly. I have a complete peace that I am in the right hands.

Dr. Anthone is both a highly skilled surgeon and an extremely warm, caring, and compassionate man.

Dr. Anthone is a kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable man. He does outstanding work and truly cares about his patients.

He designed the surgical accessory which allows him to perform the gastric bypass with the duodenal distal switch. It is a highly effective surgery, which I feel far surpasses any type of gastric banding or stapling.

Dr. Anthone was very personable. The way my mother described him was "warm". He answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident in my decision to pursue this surgery. He also discussed other surgeries with me so that I would understand further the differences in what was available (although I already knew this is the one I wanted!!!)
