Dr Murr was great, I am an RN, I feel very confident that he is very skilled. He was caring ,informative, answered my questions well, has a great bedside manner. I felt he really cared about your care, even gave me his email address and always answered within 24hrs. I would highly reccomend him to anyone.
Upon meeting Dr. Dietrick, I had a sense of relief. He was a professional in every aspect of the word, and had a great demeanor. The office staff at the Tampa WISH Center was very nice and took every effort to make good use of our time and to make sure we were comfortable. Dr. Dietrick was very straight forward and answered all of our questions at length, and made sure we fully understood his explanation. The WISH Center's structured Pre OP care is awesome to prepare you for your operation, and the Post Op is great also. You may pay a little more but you have a Pschyologist, Dietician, Exercise Specialist on Staff available to help you, as well as the Dr. The risks of the surgrey are explained at each meeting, but also the postive effects of a sucessful RNY and a healthier you. I would recommend Dr. Dietrick to anyone, his bedside manner and his skill were great. The only negative aspect of the surgrey was a few minor staffing issues at the host hospital, but the WISH Center requires a support person throughout your journey, which helps to lessen the problem at a hospital. On a scale of One to Ten Dr. Dietrick is an 11.

When I first met Dr Dietrick I knew I had made the right decision. I have nothing negative I can say about him. He tells it like it is and makes sure that you understand everything that is going to happen or that could possibly happen. I never felt rushed with him and could ask him question after question until I was finished. He has a great bedside manner and always greeted me with a smile. I am not a big fan or doctors (I have severe white coat syndrome)but Dr Dietrick is tops in my book as well as the entire staff of the Wish Center.
Dr. Dietrick has a very professional and somber demeamor at first as the choice to have this surgery is serious and life threatening/chaining. On further observation you begin to see a softer caring man. He has a good beadside manor and is easy to talk to. I could not have chosen a better surgeon.
not very friendly, he was not a compasionate person at all. his staff was o.k. but things could have been done differently, he did not have any intentions of doing my surgery and he could of saved me a trip of 9 hours, by letting me know this before hand! he said i was a high risk paitient, but i thought that was what they were about? i guess i was wrong!but this is my oppion of him . he may be a great doctor for someone else ? this was just my experience, and my thoughts.
