University of San Francisco Medical Center- Bariatric & Metabolic Center Hospital
Dr. Rogers was a wonderful surgeon. Everything went off without a hitch. He was very attentive and explained everything to me.rnrnHis staff also made me feel like I was their only patient while I was in the hospital.
Dr. Stanley Rogers is a nice and considerate surgeon. The staff at UC is very kind. The process was pretty easy. I only had to lose 10 pounds prior to them scheduling my surgery date. Dr. Rogers did my gastric bypass, and I have not had any complications other than a small stricture that he quickly fixed. I just called Dr. Rogers whenever I had a problem, and he was more than willing to help. I can even eat sugar with no problem (I try to stay away from it though). :) I'm glad that I choose him for my surgeon. He is awesome!!!
Dr. Rogers was GREAT. He and his team took well care of me. He's very thorough and he put my husband at ease as I were prepping for surgery. My husband only had great thigns to say about the staff also. I would DEFINATELY recommend him for someone wanting RNY. I really can't fairly give any negetive feedback at this point in the game (5 days post op :)
I liked the doctor the first day I met him, May 2006. rnWhen I met him after all tests done, he seemed like he remembered me. That is unheard of now a days. He still asked me the questions, but he attitude was, I remember you.rnStaff is very busy, but are very professional.rnHe explained procedures, I have a big long scar from gallbadder surgery 22 yrs ago. He said he could use that for surgery. I wasvery happy..
My first impression of Dr. Rogers was great. I spoke to the physician's asst. (Linda Bell) first and she was terrific too. I loved how thorough they were, how they took lots of time to answer my questions and I am impressed at the department's complication and mortality rates.rnrnThe only negative was the VERY long wait between the end of the orientation (9am) and the time I started with Linda Bell (about noon). Their department is super busy and I hope the wait isn't so long all the time.rnrnThe office staff was very professional and kind, except for the one receptionist. She was efficient in that she was a good gatekeeper for the doctors - but she had a bit of a curt way of talking to folks.
I love Dr Stanley Rogers. He was very nice and polite from the very beginning. He was very informative in my optin of the surgery.rn He came to visit me and my husband in preop and was a God send at this time. He had a very soothing voice that calmed me right down. He was the first person I woke up to after surgery asking me how I was doing? He told me that I did great in surgery and to let anyone know if I needed more pain meds. I haven't met him yet for my two week check up. But I am looking forward to it.rnHe is a wonderful Dr that I would recommed to anyone.
