The surgeons, nursing staff and administration of Upstate were all stars. They were very attentive to my needs and I felt well cared for. I would recommend this hospital to others considering bariatric surgery without hesitation.

It is on the older sider and can use some updating but it was a good experience.

Overall from the time of check in, I had friendly helpful staff. The dietary staff, housekeeping, were great. The nurses all were awesome & very helpful. The unit I was on was very busy but they for the most part took time to listen and try to help in any way they could. This is not a moder facility by any means or the ritz but they (the staff) make it work adnd are great. Overall I was very pleased with my care.

I think that they should have a set of rooms set aside just for patient who had this surgery. This way they can work together and share information. I had a horrible room mate and I never got any sleep. I rested much better once discharged and had a great recovery.

My experience with the hospital was very positive. I feel all staff fully understood the surgery and were always helpful.

The staff was great, but the noise was very loud and hard to sleep when needed.

The nurses were excellent. From pre admission to recovery to the general floor nurses, I can't say enough about them. All the nurses were very nice and helpful when needed. I stayed on the 5th floor and everything went great.
