Clean, Comfortable, I've heard some complaints, but never ever had any problems myself.

There isn't much more I can say. I did not have one complaint of the hospital or the staff. Everyone was awesome from the time I walked in at 5 in the morning until I was released the next afternoon. I had my own room and felt very comfortable and well taken care of.

Under staffed and non-attentive

I was so happy. I got a private room, my mother stayed with me the entire time and she was given the same respect and care I was. Everything I asked for was considered and the nurses were wonderful. Parking is easy, they have really NICE and HUGE shower/bath room for taking showers with PIC lines (you have your own private bathroom in your room as well), and it was just very comfortable. They have a very nice, reasonably priced cafeteria as well, which was nice for my friends and family who came to visit.

I would ask for pain shot, and I got a nausous shot. Asked for nausous, and got pain. It was really weird and the time it took to get it was a little too long.

the only thing i really feel they need to improve on is making sure that the patient is clean and comfortable. I had to keep insisting on getting a sponge bath, my hair kept decent and be able to brush my teeth, this was not a priority for staff and after having this kind of surgery you would at least like to stay fresh and clean as much as possible.

Major surgery patients get private rooms... it's nothing spectacular, but the beds are large and you get your privacy which is the important thing. Everyone was very competent and friendly and did their best to care for me without disturbing me too much - even when they had to check my vitals at 4 in the morning. I have problems with pain medication and the was happy that the nursing staff didn't try to force me to take any or more than I needed - they even checked with the doctor to verify a half-dosage. I didn't even mind that they had several student nurses and interns visiting me, because they asked first. And the best thing of all... people KNOCKED before entering the room... just this tiny common courtesy really made me feel they respected me.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I felt like the first 2 days, I got alot of attention, but on the last 2 days, I felt like I was a bother. The day I had to go home, and was waiting for my husband, you could tell they were done with me. They didnt even want to answer any questions for me. It was very uncomfortable.

From the moment I was wheeled down to the O.R. the young guy and young lady wheeling me down were joking with me and making me comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better team, the nurses who took care of me were wonderful too. I love this hospital!
