St. Vincent Charity Hospital Hospital
My stay was fine until the last 48 hours--the nurse was surly, and another working on the floor was extremely LOUD. When I complained about her, my care went straight downhill. I am almost 3 months out and have YET to receive a response from them regarding seminars. I really need the support and I am TIRED of leaving messages, emails, etc.
They were very sensitive to all of my needs. I didn't have much pain but they tended to every other need that I or my family had. The nurses were kind and very knowledgable about the surgery. I felt safe and secure; and I didn't have to worry about privacy issues. I would definitely recommend St. Vincent Charity Hospital
I chose this because of the wonderful reputation of the doctors and nurses. In general if I had to choose based on some of the non-professional staff, I would not go here. Some of the staff is in the wrong profession. They shouldn't be talking to patients. Or at least have some training in how to talk to people.
The nursing staff at this hospital was very friendly and caring. They accomodated all of my needs during my stay after surgery. Dr. Schreiber's staff and himself were very kind, courteous, and informative. They made me feel like everything will be okay and taken care of. I really enjoyed dealing with everyone at the hospital and highly recommend a person to deal with St. Vincent Charity Hospital in the future, too. Along with dealing with Dr. Helmut Schreiber and his assistant Chris Unsinger, too, as they both are wonderful people who care.
