While in ICU, the nurses were extreemly caring and helpful.. After being moved to a room, a few of the nurses were great and some were so so.. I realize that now days hospitals are short staffed, so they do have an excuse.

Love the private rooms! Everyone was very nice, responsive,and friendly.

It was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Most of the nursing and associated staff were great. Jennica and Fred were great.

As someone else pointed out the night staff seemed better that the day staff.

I had some personal issues over health care communications and I was glad to be released. Make sure you really can make long distance phone calls out of your room, try it and if it doesn't work insist on a working telephone.

I was able to receive calls but 2 nights when I was is distress I was unable to call home because the phone wouldn't work.

So I simply appeard at the nurses station at midnight asd asked which phone there could I use to call home.

Visiting hours are 24/7.

The private rooms are also a plus.

I felt safe and well taken care of by the nurses and doc and all the medical staff. Only complaint would be I didnt feel I got enough teaching about my diet and what the progression of my diet should be!

most people arent aware of this, but st lukes hospital's visiting hours are 24 hours a day. the only problem is the parking. everyone that came to see me said they couldnt find a place to park and had to park really far away. they are currently building a new parking deck so that problem should be solved soon.

BE PERSISTANT IN ASKING FOR PAIN RELIEF. I ASKED TO HAVE THE MORPHINE REMOVED, BUT THEN THEY NEVER BROUGHT ANYTHING TO REPLACE IT. FINALLY I ASKED FOR SOMETHING AND THEY BROUGHT ME TYLENOL WITH CODIENE
