Saint Clare's Health System (COE) Hospital

The hospital facilities need updating, the rooms had no wide chairs and the toilets were not high but standard height. The staff was the best though. They have a very nice lobby, perhaps they can put some of that furniture in the rooms (i almost went to the lobby to get better chairs).

It was a great hospital with wonderful staff.

Fairly easy to get to, parking is a breeze, much better than I anticipated based on size of hospital alone... that became quite a nice benefit.

Wjat a wonderful nursing staff! They were very comforting and supportive. Some of them even had they surgery themselves so they were able to tell us first hand what to expect. They called me at home after the surgery to see how I was doing. They call once a month now for updates. I liked the fact that they allowed my husband and family to stay with me pre-surgey and post surgery . It made a huge difference.

The parking is free and visitor hours are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (But they did not seem eager to kick out your guests).
They had a larger chair and bed ready when I arrived and took time to explain each step or procedure. Pain Medication was by a pump the first day and then pills the 2nd and 3rd becuase the IV was removed on the morning after my surgery. However I really did not experience much pain after my surgery.

The staff was so incredible, from the doctors to the housekeeping staff, I've never seen so a group of compassionate, caring individuals working together. I can't think of a bad thing about any one of them.

The entire staff from the professionals to the volunteers were very caring, and friendly. It was like being cared for by family.
