I had a great experience at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. Dr. Mann and the bariatric team were wonderful to me during my entire stay (which was only 3 day, 2 nights). The ICU nurses were great as well. Took extremley good care of me and made sure I was as comfortable as they could make me feel.

I had an emergency C-section at NMCP when I had my daughter, and it was a great experience. It was very comfortable, and I had my own room. Over-all a great experience. :o) I can't wait to have my bypass there!

I liked the ICu, they were absolutely wonderful. After I got to the unit it went downhill from there. They ( the nurses) didnt give me any wash basins, did not believe me when I was in pain and it took the heart of a student nurse to actually come to my aide and assist me. I was not heppy with the unit at all. Although the 3 other girls who shared my room were very nice.

Everyone from the receptionist to the doctors were wonderful. They made my experience just great!!!

This hospital is beautiful. The first time I was in there it felt like a mall more than a hospital. My parking rating is poor due to the fact that if you have an appointment after 10 am, good luck finding a spot. On more than one occasion I've been late for my appointment (after getting to the parking garage 20 minutes early) while trying to find a spot.

I only had a problem with one person that worked there. Everyone else was a super nice and made me feel comfortable.

The only thing that I would change is the fact that they have 4 people to one room. It was hard to share one bathroom with 4 other people. Other than that everything was great!

I was very happy with all the nurses that took care of me. They were all helpful and available when I needed them. Several of them were excellent and I thank them.

I felt so cared for and every staff member treated me and my family wonderfully. I will be telling everyone I know that this hospital and the services offered are great.

I have to say they were on top of things. I had to have two surgeries within three days and they were great about it. Plus took it slow the second time.
