Middlesex Hospital (COE) Hospital

I must say my experience was great up until I got to the area that I staying at...There were a few personality conflicts with some of the very young Physicians Care Assistants. I had actually had them arguing with me and ended up with a situation. The two that started this whole thing were on my very first day..they didn't assist my fiance with getting me out of bed, they walked away and left him to do it, then when we took my first walk he did it with me, but as we got back towards my room they were no where in sight..that evening an alarm went off in my room on one of my machines, one of the same woman came in, saw it turned around said it has to be turned off and walked off...it was going off for my than 30 minutes before a nurse came in...I couldn't believe it..it was not good, the next couple of days were poor to say the least with the nursing assistants..they all looked like they were 18, 19 year old just off welfare types who were far from warm...It was aweful. However, the nursing & hospital were fine, clean, and kept the pain meds coming once I was off the pump without problem, my fiance stayed with me in the hospital two out of 3 nights without any problem either. The OR nurses were great, and others up the getting to the OR, but as I said I wish I wasn't put into that particular station, it seemed like a daycare there average workers being 20-25 including nurses. Some of the older nurses were nice, but then there were the ones that were so old that they were brash...thank god I am home I HATE hospitals!
