The staff did take a long while to answer your requests.

I have not had my WLS, however I have had experience in the past with this hospitol. A+

It is understaffed with nurses. They didn't respond in my opinion to my request. There where 3 nurses out of my 3 days there that were great other than that , they were just there to do thier job not very friendly.

Overall, the nursing staff was excellent. I did have one nurse that really didn't want to be a nurse anymore (she told me that). As a nurse myself, I found that very discomforting to hear.

It was very clean, roomy, and the nursing staff were very responsive to my requests and needs.

Staff in general was courteous and quite helpful. There was only one shift of nurses that seemed unresponsive to my calls for assistance, though that could have been due to short staffing or other problems on the floor as the rest of the time I had good response times and well-trained staff attending to my needs.

The nursing staff assigned to me were inept - one nurse grabbed my hand right where my IV was to take my blood pressure. Two nurses decided to install some type os aparatus over my bed while I was still in it and no one could coordinate blood tests, chart tests, temps and blood pressure at the same time - someone came into my room every hour to do something could not get any rest! THEY ALSO DID NOT COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER! One would say I no longer needed a treatment and 3 hours later someone else would come in to give it!

Everyone was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Hospital gowns were large enough to accommodate you with modesty.

Great hospital but the nursing staff, except for a few were not too willing to help once I was in my room.

I paid $75 per day for a private room which was well worth the cost. If you have a Women's Plus or Womens 55 club card (free over the internet) parking is free and a family member gets a $4 credit each day for food. The nurses were fantastic - very understanding, sympathetic, and friendly.
