Emory Johns Creek Hospital (COE) Hospital
The staff and the hospital were wonderful. My nurses were great, I felt like I was being taken care of by friends! The hospital is new and you can see that the layout of the rooms was carefully thought out . There is banquet seating and a nice comfy chair. My mom stayed overnight with me, slept on the banquet seating and said that she was very comfortable. The nurses brought my mom blankets and pillows. My family ate there and said the food was wonderful. My entire experience there was wonderful, I can't think of enough good things to say about them!
EJCH is an excellent place to go for WLS. They have a section devoted to WLS patients & specially trained bariatric nurses. Everyone I delt with was exceptionally nice & caring. No one seemed to be unhappy with their job or overworked, like so many other hospitals these days. I would highly recommend this hospital!!
Everything was great a this hospital. Nice staff, friendly, amd wonderful to deal with.
Everything was fine with my experience except when I had to go to Radilogy and was taken by wheelchair the day after my surgery from my room to radiology.
I had two separate visits to Radiology and both times was told the first time to put my feet up on the stand that holds my IV and to hold it while they navigated me in a wheelchair. THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE. While entering and exiting the elevators the IV stand tipped and caused severe pain in my right side. The staff needs to not ask patients to hold IV Stands while being moved via wheelchair after surgery. IF asked DO NOT DO IT! Make them do it this is very dangerous and caused excess strain and a very slow recovery for me.
