Emory-Dunwoody is uniquely prepared to deal with large patients. I had gowns that fit and large wheelchairs, chairs and other equipment were available if needed. The nurses were excellent and well-experienced with large patients and very sensitive to my needs. It was very clean and comfortable. I was very pleased with the care I received there.

I only wish every other hospital stay I have had was at Emory Dunwoody! They take the cake! (so to speak...)LOL

Three out of four members of our "WLS family" have had their surgeries at Emory-Dunwoody Medical Center and received exquisite care on each occasion. The staff is extremely familiar with Dr. Champion and his expectations of standards of excellence where his patients are concerned. They are also experienced and adept in the care and post-op treatment of the morbidly obese patient.

The wing that my doctor uses is set up with facilities for overweight patients - beds, gurnies, gowns, etc. The staff was absolutely wonderful!
