California Pacific Medical Center (COE) Hospital
At night, I was constantly woke up for various things. I mentioned it to my doctor and he told the staff not to disturb me during the night. When I was finally getting some sleep, I felt much better! Just ask! There were also some staff that I think were in training that were upsetting me because they were not doing things correctly, but when I mentioned I wanted someone else, they switched and everything was fine. This was in regards to IV's mainly.
I was so impressed with this hospital. The rooms were quiet and the nurses were so attentive. The bed was of an ample size to hold my wide girth comfortably. They installed a trapeze bar above my bed to help me get in and out of bed with ease and the nurses made sure I was always ahead of the pain. That is so very important. But I think what was the nicest thing about the hospital was, the nurses brought in a roll away cot for my husband to lie on without my husband or myself ever mentioning anything. My husband decided to sleep next to the bed in a nice reclining chair that they provided. This is a great hospital with an amazing staff!
