Boston Medical Center Hospital

I got what I needed, but felt like I was a number and not a person. I had to ask to have bedding changed after two days, a new "johnny" after two days, and get my dressings changed after two days. There were people constantly in out of the room non stop 24 hours a day making it difficult to rest. The staff did not seem to care that my roomate was loud, annoying, rude, and selfish despite my requests for them to speak to him. I was not impressed at all with this hospital.

For the most part my stay was great. The night time nurses were very unattentive, my IV would be beeping forever and after 2 calls to them they still took their time getting in. I had an AWESOME nurse during the day who got my up and moving and really helped me with helpful hints, and she made me a "pillow" to hug. She was great. But at night, my sleep was very restless because people were constantly in and out.

As you can see from my ratings, my stay at BMC was awsome. I found the nursing staff to be wonderful and extremely attentive. I was very comfortable that I was in good hands. I had one instance where I was late in getting my pain medication but it was a lack of communication at the desk relaying my needs to the nurse.
