He was wonderful and I look and feel great. He did a tt, double hernia repair and reconstruted my entire abdominal wall. He also did a little lipo and a scar revision. I wasn't approved for arms, but will save and go back to Dr Dinick. He is wonderful.

My first impression of Dr. Pop is he is right to the point answering all questions before you can even ask them. I really liked him for treating me with respect as no question was too silly for him. The office staff were very nice. everyone helpful and informative.I do wish we had a little more time as it was a little overwelming and I know I missed some things in general, there wil be time for that after my date is set. Dr. pop doesn't fool around, he will tell you everything there is to know about the surgery,so you can make an informed decision without all the gloss. He will do lap surgery but you must come back to him 5 to 10 pounds lighter than you were when you saw him on your consultation. And still be in losing mode. He really stressed after care, and how important it is. There is a great aftercare program at barix. Over all I feel confident in him as my doctor and am looking forward to getting it done. He has put me at ease with his manner and competence.

My first impression of Dr Pop was very posative. he made it clear this surgery was not going to make me 120 pounds, but it WAS a tool to HELP me get there. He explained the surgery, the after care and all the risks.
He answered all my questions and I really felt at ease with him. He was the same way at my 2 week checkup and also at my 6 week check up. He stressed the importance of exercise as well as good eating habits. At my 6 week checkup ha said to keep himself as well as the Clinic involved in anything that was going on with my health. He also stressed the importance of the support group meetings. As an overall rating from 1 - 10 I would give him a 12. He was absloutly awesome. Surgical competence, and bedside manner were both just wonderful. I would and do recomend him to anyone who asks.I can't think of anything negative to say, my overall experience was awesome.

I think Dr. DiNick is the most wonderful person. He answered any questions that my husband and I had. He explained everything that was going to happen. My surgery took 7 hrs because of two hernia repairs. He came out after surgery and talked to my husband. He came by early the next morning to check on me. He will even go out of his way to help his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. DiNick.

I am so happy I choose Barix. The staff really made the difference. When I needed something they came right away when I pressed the button, I never had to wait and they never once made me feel like I was imposing when I had a request. I can't thank them enough for all they did for me.

At this point and time I have met with Dr. Poplawski once (and it was on a very busy day where everything was unusually behind for him) and he was still very pleasant. He seemed very focused on what we were there to accomplish. (discussion of surgery and my canidacy of it) Offered lots of wonderful information. Seemed concerned with the whole person and the before during and after the surgery. Your mental well being. Making sure you realize the surgery is not going to correct what made us over weight (that we have to do that to be truly successful) That true success of this surgery is a two part job, him doing his and us doing ours. I think he is a wonderful man the is very talented and is very dedicated to his profession and his patients. At this point I find him very recommedable.
Have met with Dr. Pop now for a second time (a second consult because it was almost a year since my first visit) and he was everything and more that he was at my first visit. And for me I was completely amazed because he was still able to remember me after almost a whole year with no other contact in that year. Was truly amazed and impressed. I am completely entrusting my life in this man's hands with confidence in him and his abilities!

I had a very good experience. Overall the only areas of improvment I would suggest would be for the staff to improve their IV skills and also a pre-surgical orientation to what "equipment" you will be using post op. It is always easier to understand when you see the set up. I would highly recommend this hospital. Professional, Supportive, encouraging, staff. Pt:Nurse ratio also appeared very good. Physicians/Surgeons are exceptional.

I want to thank the hospital first for allowing my folks to park there motorhome in the parking lot while I was there. This was very important to me.
The hospital and staff I could not have asked for anything better. I cherish all my professional staff that I had. They were the best. I would go there for any other reconstructive surgery that I might have.

Dr. Pop is very straight forward. I loved his sense of humor. This is serious but it was nice to have a few giggles to lighten things up. The staff at Barix is wonderful very friendly. Aftercare is a big part of this and I'm glad they emphasize it so much. He gave me complete information on the Lap Band as well as RNY which I appreciated. Overall I give Dr. Pop and Barix a "10"!!
