Dr. Pop was a wonderful surgeon and made you feel completely comfortable about your surgery. He explained everything very well on what he was doing and answered your questions very clearly. I would recommend him to anyone that wanted the surgery. He has given back my life that I didn't think I would ever have again. Thanks Dr. Pop!!

Loved It just wish they had enough rooms so that everyone doesnt have to share rooms.

As long as you dont mind the xray dept guy just pushing you into the machine and you dont mind some of the staff leaving you in the bathroom and them leaving the door open to the hall all else was good. The Adm came to see me personally when I complained about the xray exp, that was great. this probley would not have happened in a larger Hosp.

My first impression of Dr. Poplawski is great. I like the fact that he gets to the point and he has a sense of humour. I found all of the staff to be very supportive and friendly. I feel that surgical competence is the most important, but the fact that he also has a good bedside manner is a bonus.rnrnSo far, I do not had any unpleasant experiences with the Barix Clinic at all.

Dr. Poplawski is very personable and friendly. He is a knowledgable and kind. Wonderful bedside manner. He is also very busy. Sometimes to much. rnrnThe office staff is efficient and friendly.rnrnI didn't like feeling like I was on an assembly line. That happened a few times, but generally, everything was fine.rnrnHe was very open about the risks of surgery. rnrn

My surgery is scheduled for April 2008 so I haven't had surgery yet, but as far as things go as of now I could not ask for more. He is honest, not pushy, and makes you really think about the surgery before even going forward. I was very impressed with the visits I have had with him.

Firstly, my doctor was Dr. Schram (it says Kam above but that changed and I don't know how to change it on here). I did not officially meet Dr. Schram until the morning of surgery, but he was pleasant asked my sister if she had any questions then suggested we pray before surgery. I was very impressed with this and it boosted my confidence. The staff at the facility were VERY accommodating to me and my sister who was came along with me. I would recommend Barix to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
