Aurora Sinai Medical Center Hospital
I can say mostly good things about my stay except for two very important things. My room post-op was horrible. It was extremely small for someone having this procedure. There was no chair for me to sit in such as a high back type. There were 2 for visitors, but nothing I could have used. I was constantly bumping into things with my IV pole and was getting very depressed about the whole situation. No place to put flowers either(birthday was while I was in hospital). I have panic attacks and this was just not a good thing for me. However, my bestfriend talked to the nurse and got me a great room-room for two really!! So after that I felt much better. The only other problem was that no one addressed my question about why I wasn't getting the Paxil I normally take. I was told they would check with my doctor. I felt as though I was going through withdrawl after not taking it for six days...having nightmares every time I fell asleep and having a panic attack 3 days post-op. Even with these two issues, I felt like I was taken pretty darn good care of.
