Albany Medical Center Hospital Hospital

I have had several stays in Albany Medical Hospital. I have always found the staff to be good to me and respectful of my bariatric needs regarding food and drink. I prefer this hospital for care, but wish they had free parking, this is the only thing that makes me want to go somewhere else. For a long stay people don't like to visit when they have to pay $5 to park each time.

The office right across from my room had no clue what QUIET meant! They were loud & disruptive the entire time, thank goodness for doors.

The nursing staff was great, respectful, kind. I couldn't ask for a better group of nursing/support staff during my stay.

Great hospital and great staff. I also work at the hospital as does my husband.

I wouldn't have had it anywhere else. The Nurses were great as well as the rest of the staff. Quick on the call lights as well.

I wouldn't of gone anywhere else. In my area Albany Med has the best surgeon's and the highest standards. My stay was great beside the noisey roomate I had. She had a ton of visitors and was very loud with her radio and TV. Very hard to rest and get better.

Nurses and staff should wear less perfume. I usually am not bothered but it was so overwhelming when you are nauseated.

I found all staff from housekeeping to surgical residents to be professional and caring. The hospital is well organized and looks out for the needs of patients and family members. I was impressed. Everyone introduced themselves and stated what part of your care they were there to assist with.

It was a great experience.

Great nursing staff, attentive doctors, very clean

Staff was excellent - very respectful and responsive. Like most hospitals, beds and sleep kept you lacking for your bed rest at home.

The CNA's were excellent. The majority of the nurse's were also excellent. I didn't like the idea of the doctor's in training coming in all times of the day with questions.
