Dr. Neal is a great guy. We hit it off immediately because we are both U.S. Air Force veterans! He is a very personable man and makes you feel at ease from the first visit. I had my surgery yesterday and everything went just as planned. His team is excellent! Following my procedure, he called me that evening to check on me and to ask if I had any questions. So far, he gets high marks from me for both competence and bed side manner.

Very Comfortable with his mannerism and his abilities. His office is a center of excellence and he trains other Doctors. This is his primary focus, so I feel this adds to him being an expert. One thing I really love is they do all of their fills under flouroscope. I highly recommend Dr Neal and his team.

I may be a bit biased; after all he is my employer as well as my Lap-Band surgeon, but i have to say that I wouldn't work for someone that I did not share the same philosophy with. I feel very strongly that Dr. Neal has the compassion and empathy to support our Lap-Band patients from beginning to end. He really wants to hear from patients if they are doing well but even more so if they are having difficulties. I enjoy working with him as well as the other fabulous girls in the office.

Dr. Neal performed my surgery April 9th, 2003 in Shelton. It has been the best thing I have ever done for myself! I have so far lost 165 lbs! I would do it again in a heartbeat especially with Dr. Neal and all of his staff. They are all so wonderful and caring. Every time I went there to see Dr. Neal, every person there really made me feel like they cared about me and my surgery. Peggy, the bariatric coordinator is the best of all she is truly a friend, and someone that takes a real interest in all the patients, putting them at ease and making this as comfortable process as possible. Dr. Neal also is great with all the patients, he just exudes understanding and compassion. I would reccomend them to everyone!

Dr. Neal is avery friendly guy. I always hate meeting Dr.'s because of my obeisity, but I felt very comfortable with him. He has a busy office, with a lot going on there for the patients. I love how he veiws this surgery. He loves performing a surgery that corrects or prevents so many ailments. I agree. For aftercare, he has you see his nurse. I'm sure if there were a problem, then he would meet with you. I had a concern the night after surgery and he called me back immediatly. He went over all the risks of surgery, and how to use the band as a tool. He also talked about the things that could cause failure. I think DR. Neals surgical competence and his bedside manner are both top rate. I'm a very happy patient.

First impression was that he is kind and cares about his patients. My impression has stayed the same. The office staff is awesome! Just go see him and see for yourself! Aftercare seems to be very important. It is very structured. Dr. Neal explained the risks of surgery very well, I think he covered everything. Overall rating 10/10!rnSurgical competence and bedside manner are both great!

1. Very personable, kind and gentle.rn2. Same. Makes me feel like I am important.rn3. Office staff very personable and understanding. Many are successful lap-banders.rn4. Can't think of anything!rn5. I would recommend him highly.rn6. Very important. If I try to postpone an appointment the office staff is very concerned.rn7. I think so.rn8. Risks were emphasized both at the free seminar as well as my first consult verbally and in writing.rn9. Nothing but the best!rn10. Both are necessary.rnrnMy surgeon required that I have \"cardiac clearance\" prior to my surgery because of an episode of atrial fibrillation in my past. The possible referral to a cardiologist was not handled well by the surgeon's office and there was miscommunication that almost affected my surgery date. However, after an impassioned plea to my surgeon's office manager, the problem was corrected and I received a sincere apology.

When I went to the seminar that Dr. Neal gave, I knew I wanted him to be my surgeon. He was very hands on and seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. His office and staff were warm and inviting and made me feel at home. rnrnDr. Neal performed my lapband surgery on August 10th, 2007 and did a wonderful job! He made sure my friends and family knew how I was and kept them up to speed on what was going on... rnrnI would rate him 11 out of 10 and recommend him to anyone that is interested in starting this journey.rnrnGREAT Doctor! Very happy that I chose him!

My first impression about Dr. Neal was a casual attitude. To me it set a humble mood for his seminar. He explained things in great detail and he made you feel that your health AND your needs were always the most important aspect during the discussion of your surgery. rnrnI loved his office staff before I had even attended a seminar. Each gal I talked to in the office was very personal and made you personally feel like you were valid in your feelings and the struggle that led you to their office.rnrnI was even more tickled to find out that several of his staff had been patients of his BEFORE they were employees.rnrnI felt that every aspect of the before, durings and after surgery programs were talked about in great detail. I also liked the fact that his private pay cost included everything you need to be successful. As a private pay patient, I can see him or the staff as much as I need. No question too great or small. rnrnHe is confident in his skill, his team and the outcome. The manner in which he treats his patients is superb. His caring manner shows. rn
