William Chapman Bariatric Surgeon M.D.
My first impression of Dr. Chapman was wonderful. He was great. He answered every question I had in detail. His office staff was fantastic and loving. He makes you feel like a human being and he was always checking on me in the hospital. His bedside manner was wonderful. I recommend Dr. William Chapman, MD to anyone who is having the surgery. I was so nervous at first but he eased my mind so fast before surgery. He is one hell of a doctor and a very smart and informative one.
So far, my impression of Dr. Chapman has been positive. He is pretty to-the-point and does not waste much time sugar coating things. He seems very knowledgable and it sounds like he does quite a few of these each week, so that makes me a little more at ease. His office staff were friendly and very helpful as well, so bedside manner is definitely on their side.
My first impression was that he seemed very energetic and confident without being arrogant. He is very quick but efficient, answering questions and listening to concerns.rnHe saw me pre-op, immediatly before surgery and came by my bedside several times after surgery ( which was on a Sat and Sunday!) rnI felt save at all times and when I had a blood vessel bleed/leak during surgery he quickly took care of it and rechecked me several times post-op. i had no further complications and would rate him 11 out of 10. rnHis staff was friendly as well. I can only recommend Brody Institute/Pitt Memorial Hospital to future patients.
My first impression of Dr.Chapman was fear!rnI was so scared and anxious.rnThis man, very soon would be giving me a new lease on life!rnBefore I left the office that day my impression changed.rn He was very knowledgeable and understanding.rnHis office staff was professional and friendly.rnThere was nothing I did not like about Dr. Chapman.rn I would like future patients to know that if you really want help with a stubborn weight problem, get two people involved in your care, God first then the surgeon.rnAfterccare is really stressed by Dr.Chapman.rnECU Bariatric Clinic does have a very structured program in place. rnDr. Chapman went over the risks, as well as the benefits.rnIf I was to rate him on a scale of 1 to a 100, I would give him a 150!rnSurgical competence, and bedside manner are both important to the success of my care.
When I first met Dr. Chapman, I was a little intimidated. Here was this man who was one of the best at what he does and I was putting the rest of my life in his hands! But I was determined and convinced that I was going to do well...so he liked me. The best way to do right by Dr. Chapman is to do right by yourself. He will be proud of you...and proud of his work...if you take care of the gift he gave you!
