Vishal Mehta Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I had surgery basically cause all else failed. He was a dream come true. A friend Michele had surgery 3 years ago and referred me to Dr. Mehta. I went to a couple support meetings and found them very informative. Appointments were very easy and all the girls in the office were always polite and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr. Mehta. I like the idea of the support group. It's an excellent tool to stay on the right track after you are able to eat again.

I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT DR. MEHTA AND HIS STAFF. THEY HAVE BEEN SO HELPFUL AND UNDERSTADING THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS. I WAS 247 THE HEAVIEST I EVER WAS. I TRIED TO LOOSE WEIGHT BUT NOTHING WORKED. I CALLED AND HAD AN APPT IMMEDIATELY. I HAD MY SURGERY 3-4 MONTHS LATER. THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. 15 MONTHS LATER I AM NOW 120 LBS. I LOST 127 LBS!!. WENT FROM 22 TO SIZE 6. A wonderful group of individuals who are caring, attentive, positive & supportive - I decided on surgery because I had gotten to a point where my weight controlled me, my diabetes controlled me & I was slowly losing interest in anything. I chose Dr. Mehta because he chose me, if that makes sense. Extremeley easy to get an appoitnment & even before my surgery I recommend a few people here. I am very satisfied with the care I've received and so far, my questions have been answered & then some!!

AFTER RESEARCHING MY OPTIONS AND DECIDING ON LAP BAND I WAS RESEARCHING SURGEONS WHEN DR. MEHTA WAS RECOMEMEDED TO ME. I WAS QUICKLY EVALUATED AND THE STAFF HELPED WITH THE NEEDS OF MY INSURANCE COMPANY. SURGERY WAS ONE WEEK AGO AND ALREADY I FEEL GOOD AND MORE ALERT. I had many reasons for wanting to commit to WLS and the lifestyle that comes with it. I have considered surgery for quite some time. After years of wasted time and money, only to regain weight, I made the decision to do it. rnrnAfter visiting several doctors, I chose Dr. Mehta. he is an extremely talented surgeon with a sterling record and reputation. rnrnDr. Mehta's staff makes you feel welcome at once. There is no question that cannot be asked. Also, Mehta Bariatric Center has suprior resources for every step of the process. I am completely satisfied witht the care I have received from Dr. Mehta and his staff and would highly recommend them to all.

I decided to have surgery because I am a diabetic and my sugars were out of control and I also had high blood pressure. I chose Dr. Mehta for the surgery because both of my parents also had the surgery done by him. He and his staff are wonderful. They were able to answer any questions and took care of any problems with insurance. It is easy to get an appointment and Dr. Mehta and his staff are always readily available. I would absolutely referr someone to them if they were interested in having the surgery. It is hard to believe that only 4 months later I am off my blood pressure and diabetes meds and I am down 61 lbs. i feel wonderful and I have Dr. Mehta to thank for giving me a new life.

First off, the staff at the office always returned my calls . Which were many right away. Always able to answer all my concerns and questions. I was very comfortable with Dr. Mehta. i'm not a big doctor fan. Just meeting everyone helped me to decide to have this much need surgery. I'm not taking surgar meds or blood pressure med any more, I'm able to move around better and yes I would recamande Dr. Mehta to help change someones life.

Dr. Mehta and his staff were excellent. They answered all my questions and concerns. I decided on the surgery because in addition to being overweight, I had several health issues taht were weight related (highblood pressure, high cholesterol and acid reflux). I choose Dr. Mehta because of his reputation as being one of the top surgeons in the Biaratic field. it was very easy to get an appointment and the staff was very accomodating to my work schedule.rnrnI was completely satisfied with my care and would highly recommend their facility.
