My first impression of him was that he was a very busy man but nice. After the first consult I reschedule to talk to him and he let me know in no uncertain terms that I had to do exactly as he told me to or he would not do the surgery, which is okay because I felt confident that he knew what he was doing. I would rate him a 10. He is a humerous man not in telling jokes but in his actions. But very nice.
Dr. O is the best. He does a great job screening before surgery and will tell you straight out if he thinks this is right for you or not. He makes sure you know this is a life changing event. He is very blunt, which can put some people off, but I appreciate his honesty. I was hospitalized last week with a complication not directly related to the surgery, and he was there to take care of me in the hospital. One other thing he emphasized before surgery, he will be my doctor for life because of this surgery.
His office staff is the best. Anne, his nurse, is an angel. Once she meets you, she'll always remember your name. She is the front line for getting help from the office and you can always count on her.
MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. O AS WE CALL HIM WAS "THIS GUY IS VERY SERIOUS"! IT TURNS OUT I WAS RIGHT HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AND HE TAKES THIS PROGRAM VERY SERIOUS HE WILL NOT HESITATE TO CANCEL THE SURGERY IF HE THINKS YOU ARE NOT READY....I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE AND I KNOW THAT I CHOSE THE RIGHT SURGEON FOR ME...THANKS AGAIN DR.O.......
My first impression was that he is strict and that you should not think that the surgery is a quick fix. I really am glad that I decide to go with him. He really seems to care. His office staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Sometimes the staff can seem very busy but will still answers your questions. They really stress after care and the importance of it. I would rate him a 10.
Well I though I was going to have my surgery at the CORI center but my blood docter want let me so im going to have it with Dr.Oliphant his a great guy to meet him a year ago.....wish me luck
When I walk into the CORI Center, I wasnt sure what Doctor I was going to see. I had looked up Dr.Woods and Dr.Sapala. They help in coming up with the Sapala Woods Micropouch
Well Dr.Wood came to the consualt. He was down to earth, honest, straight to the point. No sugar coating it.He told us that it was a tool and to use it well. His been a surgoen for 26years and had been doing this kind of surgery for about 10 years. My husband and I picked Dr.Wood because he mad us feel like we were human. His a good Doctor. His staff was great the were helpful in all the questions I asked.
Dr. O is the best i did not know at first if i was going to. he wants you to be absolutely sure of everything before you consider this procedure. which is completely understandable. by the time that i had my second meeting with him he is the best person that i think that i could have choosen for this procedure. i love a sense of humor and he diffinently has one.
Anne is the perfect nurse she is everything that i feel a person needs when they are going thourgh what we are. she males the time to answer questions and reassure you when you need it.
My first impression of Dr. Oliphant was incredible. I first met him when my wife was going to see him to do her wls. I thought that he was incredible. There were many things that he required that she do to insure that she was going to be as successful as possible. the thought was that here is a doctor who is not out just to make a buck. His nurse Ann is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about each one of the patients. You would swear that by the way that she treats you that you are Dr. Oliphant's only patient.
Aftercare is primary on his mind. He requires office follow-up on the following schedule: 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 3 months and then every three months until 1 year and then annually. You have to agree to this schedule prior to surgery and if you cannot agree to it then he will refuse surgery.
