Met Dr. Webb briefly on my first visit. I did go to his mandatory seminar and he spoke for about 45 minutes. I found him very personable and informative. So far, I have heard all great things about him.
Mostly, I like the fact that he has been doing lap surgery for about 17 years and I feel very comfortable that he can do my wls.
I am very excited to see him again.
My first impression of the Dr. was pleasant. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and able to explain the proceedure so that anyone could understand it. His office staff is an absolute dream. They are very considerate of the individual's need's. What I like least about the Dr. was that he had only completed 150 surgeries. He isn't new to laproscopic surgeries but it made me feel a little uncomfortable. He does provide lifetime aftercare program for all his patients and this was the edge that led me to decide to choose him as my surgeon. So far I would rate him at an overall 8. I believe that surgical competence and bedside manner are both great.
Was impressive the first time I met him. He seemed very knowledgeable about the surgery and confident that he could help me. He was so considerate of the fact that I lived far away from his office. I actually got caught in traffic going to his office after a 5 hour trip. I could see I wasn't going to make my appointment even though I was only about 2 miles from his office. He got on the phone and talked to me as if we were having my appointment on the phone. This was during the hurricane problems and he told me to go on home and check my family. We talked on the phone a couple times before my surgery and I had my preop visit the day before my surgery so I would only have to make one trip.
He told me about the risks of the surgery and his aftercare program was staffed with knowledgeable people. I found that his weight loss center staff was more involved in getting the money right than establishing a care system with me. They were friendly enough preop but I didn't hear from them much postop. Some of the staff changed after my surgery so I haven't really talked to them. I have established care in my area. Dr. Webb has had me do bloodwork from where I am and have it faxed to him so that has worked out pretty well. Dr. Webb is very competent in his field and he paid close attention to details. He even came in to check the leak tests postop while the technician was there.
I think anyone using Dr. Webb will find him to be personable and competent. I wanted a doctor that knew what he was doing. I believe I got him in Dr. Webb.
I thought he was very nice.
My impression of him has remained the same. He is very good.
His office staff is very nice and cooperative.
He emphasized aftercare for the rest of your life. Great!
Does not have a structured after care program but, there is one through the hospital.
He did address the risks of the surgery and I added a new one to his list.
Very good, excellent!
Surgical competence is very important but, it is very nice to have someone who has a great bedside manner as well.
The only negative was the hospital staff had problems with competence. I would not have anything done at the hospital again!
Very nice, personable!
Dr. Webb's office staff was ery nice and supportive, answered all the questions we had!
I've heard nothing but great stuff about Dr. Webb, his staff makes you feel very comfortable!
Addressed all the risks and questions i had at the information meeting (once a month) and any i asked him directly!
Overall, so far so good!
I love Dr Webb. I had my gallbladder taken out by him back in 2001. I wouldnt trust any other bariatric surgeons in this area. He is involved in an structured aftercare program with a lot of support. His office staff is okay. I do think it is important to make sure that you meet any surgeon and get your own opinion. Luckily, I already knew him from a prior surgery.
My first impression of Dr Webb was that he was very compassionate, and patient. He listened and answered all my questions.
My first impressions of him were confirmed.
His office staff are very thorough, and follow through with everything.
Dr. Webb requires that you have an aftercare program in place, and has one set up for you to join.
He addressed all of my concerns about the risks of surgery. And I was given a written test to be sure that I understood everything that had been explained to me.
His surgical competence is awesome! I have 7 tiny little scars from the incisions, and that's it!. And his bedside manner is very professional, and patient.
I had a few minor issues after surgery, and his after hours service was very quick to contact him, and I received call backs from either him or one of his associates in less than a half an hour both times.
Dr. Webb and all of his staff were really nice. He also has a very funny side and that made some things easier for me. When I told him I might have second thoughts about the surgery he didn't try to talk me back into it. He has a great aftercare plan and everyone has been really helpful to me. My incisions are very small and haven't hurt at all. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery so far and look forward to each day as I heal. I don't have anything bad to say about Dr. Webb. I believe that not only is he a very competent doctor but a very caring one with a good bedside manner. Dr
Deperri is a very nice doctor as well. He came to visit with me on Saturday and Sunday.
He was pleasant and very gentle when he removed the tubes.
