I was referred to Dr Randall by a friend, and then coincidentally, a stranger! I've heard nothing but good things. He has been doing this for 2 decades now. VERY friendly office staff. Dr Randall is very low key and easy going. The guy is at the top of his profession.rnPost-op: rnI continue to be impressed by Dr Randall. I don't know how he does all he does. My mother is convinced the man is a saint - and she is not one to dole out compliments of that caliber easily. You need a negative? His office is B-U-S-Y! They routinely overbook but will also tell you that so you know you'll have to wait a while - but he doesn't rush you out the door once you get your turn.

05/09/2002 When I first met Dr. Randall I was very nervous. I wanted him to accept me as a candidate for this surgery. At first he was very quiet and just sort of listened to what I said. Then as the appointment went on he became more open, talking about the procedure, drawing diagrams about how the surgery is performed, etc. In my opinion so far, he is a very good doctor. His staff was very helpful and very nice. I will update more post-op.rn04/22/2007 Thinking back, after I had spoken with other people, in support groups and such, about Dr. Randall, I found that my description of a first meeting with him was pretty typical. I guess he tends to be quiet and introspective when he first meets you, even though it tends to come off as rude, stand-offish, and completely uninterested. I remember leaving that first appointment feeling as if I was just another case file, and not a person. Upon later meetings (or, rather, appointments) with him, I found that he is a very nice, caring, great doctor. He may start off seeming cold, but he definitely warms up to you very quickly. He makes sure to explain everything so you completely understand it all. And if you don't, he isn't annoyed, or frustrated, to have to go over it again -- or if he is, he hides it well. He likes to stay informed on how you are doing post-op as well. He isn't one to cut, and run, so to speak. Many doctors these days are like that -- I've had my fair share. My mom also had the surgery with him (although through a different office location), and if I don't stay in contact, he checks in with her about me (even 5 years later), and has her pass on instructions to have me get in touch with him. To me, Dr. Randall is definitely a diamond in the rough. I'm so glad I stayed with him. I can't say that any of my comments are the regular course of business for Dr. Randall, but they are how things went/go with me, and are my attempt at being honest and objective.

Very knowledgable and cares about his patients. You cannot find another surgeon that'll give you the care he will give. He holds support group meetings monthly and are free. This is well worth going to every month. I cannot thank him enough for the amount of time that he spends educating and caring for each of us.

He is the absolute best! I wish I could bottle him up and keep him! My impression never changed about him, my fondness just grew. I was very nervous about this sort of thing and I've never been made to feel so comfortable. Dr. Randall's staff is wonderful. They get his messages to him quickly, they understand what we go through pre and post-op, and they have a great sense of humor! The thing I like best about Dr. Randall is that even though he may have a million patients, he takes care of you almost as though you're the only one. He is the best person to leave your life in his hands. Dr Randall says about after care that he'll get you through surgery, but it's up to you to do the rest. His support groups are awesome and I wait the days every month to go to them and see everyone. There isn't a number high enough to rate Dr. Randall. To me , both surgical care and bedside manner are both important.

I chose Dr. Randall on the reccommendation of several co-workers. Two of which had already had the surgery performed by him, and one that was just about to have her date scheduled. I was not disappointed!! He was very informative at my first meeting with him, explained everything in detail, and was anxious to answer my questions and put me at ease!! It helped that my co-worker was just a few weeks ahead of me in the process, she helped guide me as to what to expect, but even if I did not have her to guide me, Dr. Randall would have me feeling completely comfortable. I now have my date scheduled, and am looking forward to having my surgery, and feel completely comfortable with the surgeon I chose and his skills!!

Dr. Randall is truly a wonderful, caring doctor. He calls you back when you are having a problem. He answers your questions honestly and quickly. He has so much experiece with this type of surgery so you can trust that he absolutley knows what he is talking about. I never worried one minute while in his care. He comes to see you everyday after surgery. His staff is just as caring and helpful.
