Before my sleeve gastrectomy, i was living a very unhealthy lifestyle. I was taking so many different types of medications for every single problem i had...diabetes, hypertension, the list goes on. Since my WLS, my life has spun 360 degrees. As i drop the weight, i am no longer taking the medication that i once needed. I am finally smiling and becoming happy with my weight. Anytime i need assistance, Dr. Garber and his wonderful staff are always there to help. I recommend the New York Bariatric Group 100%.
Before my surgery I was always trying to blend in and not be noticed. Shopping for clothes was difficult. After surgery I feel free and I am now excited to go out. Thank you Dr. Garber for everything. You are always very caring a helpful. The whole office is great.
Awesome Doctor. Awesome Staff. Awesome bedside manner. But what's even more awesome? My weight loss. Dr. Garber is a fantastic surgeon. After all of my research, i am glad that i chose the new york bariatric group.
Before my surgery none of my clothes were fitting, if not they were too tight. I was also having breathing problems especially when using stairs and any incline. I had an overactive bladder due to being overweight and was always feeling tired. After surgery my energy is finally building back up, my clothes are fitting and i haven't used my inhaler since. I have even noticed that i dont have to eat alot to feel full. Both meeting Dr. Garber and at the time of my surgery he has been informative and gone over and answered any questions that i had. He explained the surgery so well that it made me feel very comfortable and have no worries going into surgery. Since my surgery i have lost 40lbs in a month- thank you Dr. Garber.
I am so grateful for the New York Bariatric Group, especially for Dr. Garber. Thanks to him i am getting closer to my goal weight and finally able to walk my daughter to the bus stop without getting out of breathe. He is a great surgeon and the staff is extremely caring. Overall this practice has a great support group pre and post operative- this is what truly differentiates them from other bariatric programs. So happy i chose the new york bariatric group!
Not only a skilled surgeon, Dr. Garber has an amazing bedside manner. He was always available via phone or e-mail with questions. I have lost 70lbs with gastric sleeve. I am now free. I am able to really live now!
Dr. Garber ans his staff have demonstrated that patients are people too. There was never a time that I was ashamed or felt that I was not normal. Great service!
