I met him 4 months prior to my surgery when I was in the hospital with a small bowel obstruction I was meeting with Dr. Dtill in Dsnville where I did all the preliminary stuff but had my sugery closer to home and had Dr. Mohaltra at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Wilkes Barre PA He was very thorough and has excellant bedside manner. I was very relaxed when he did my surgery. Not only did he do the bypass but he removed a ton of adhessions and corrested the small bowel obstructions and also repaired a hernia I didn't even know I had. I see both him and continue follow up Dr. Still in Danville PA He also is a terrific DR>
The only negative part of my surgery was that I was the first patient at Wilkes Barre Geisinger Hospital and the nursing staff wasn't completly knowledgable about after care and the med crushing deal and the diet to be followed Maybe by now they have improved and I understand that they are going to do more complete prior instruction now But they were very eager to talk to me and ask me about what I learned in the 6 month prior surgery They were very friendly and very prompt with pain meds I do understand this is a big learning processfor all nursing & patients

He was incredibly patient and spent over an hour with myself and my husband.
