My first impression of Dr. Keith was that he was a very attentive listener and answered any and all questions my husband and I had. As I have only seen him for one office visit my opinion has not and hopefully will not change. His office staff in my opinion could be a little more informative. When you first go in you are given information that says "DO NOT CALL". If you didnt, you wouldnt know anything. As I was determined to have my surgery by the end of the year, I might have been anxious.

First impression was he is quiet, ask questions. The office staff is very nice. They have a very structured program from start to finish and after care!! I would rate him excellent and a nice dr. I would do it again in a heartbeat!! :)

I was unsure about Dr. Keith when I first met him at his seminar, but after my consullt I thought he was great. His office staff have all been absolutley wonderful. He is not real outgoing, but he is very truthful and blunt. I have spent alot more time with his staff and others, than I have with Dr. Keith. I think he likes to watch and see how things are going from an outside view. He emphasizes after care greatly. He says that after care is the key to success. His after care program is very structured and he offers alot of support. He went over the risks of surgery alot. He says that if all the rules are followed, especially after care, the risks go down drastically. I would rate Dr. Keith very high at this point, before surgery.

The first time I met him was at a seminar. He was friendly, down to earth and very honest. You are aware of the advantages and risks of the surgery upfront and the options available. I have since had my consult and my opinion has not changed. He is very comfortable to talk to. His staff is helpful and also very warm and inviting. Dr Keith is upfront how much aftercare is critical. It is reassuring to know that there will be support available following surgery.

Dr. Keith and his staff were very thorough, patient and gave many opportunities for you to ask questions. I will update on aftercare and bedside manner after surgery.

I work at the hospital where I had the surgery, so I had already talked with Dr. Keith about the surgery. I had called the office to receive the info packet, and was telling him that it had been a week since I had called and had not received the packet. It was then that I discovered I had called the wrong office. He took my name and address right there (this was a Sunday) and assured me a packet would be sent first thing Monday. It was at my HOUSE on Monday. I attended the seminar the following week, put on by him and his staff. I have never seen a group of office staff be so kind and caring and helpful. Dr. Keith is so patient and forthright with all of the risks and benefits of the surgery. I had been researching it for about a year anyway, but he and his staff helped me make an informed decision. There are alot of appointments to go through before the surgery, like dietary, psychological, physical, heart and lung tests and tests like sleep study (I had to have to see if I had sleep apnea) or stomach tests to see if any problems exist, but he is very thorough. You don't just walk in and say "I want the surgery" and it's done. I have good insurance and from requesting the surgery in July, had my surgery in September, I was one of the lucky few who didn't have to wait a long time. The followup is pretty detailed, too. He won't just let you loose. He also has a full time dietitian at the office who is able to answer questions anytime. As a nurse, I would rather have surgical competence than a good bedside manner, but Dr. Keith has both. A great plus!! I rate him an 11 on a scale of 1-10!

Dr. Keith is fantastic, the first time I met him; he asked me a few questions and actually listened to my answers! He actually heard what I said with no filters. My admiration for both Dr. Keith and his staff has grown since that first meeting. The office is easy to find and his staff is great. They are totally there and so helpful. I know some of my "band" friends have had problems with insurance and his staff has been great with information and help. As of right now, the only problem I've had was getting through to either Dr. Keith or one of his PA's when I was having problems with my allergies post surgery. It got a bit frustrating but persistance won. Dr. Keith does a great deal of screening prior to the surgery, make sure you do your homework and know what you are there for. He really wants all of his patients to achieve their goals and he works really hard to ensure success. Dr. Keith does stress post op care. He has a dietitian on staff and there is a program you are required to commit to prior to surgery and follow through with after. Dr. Keith is very frank, he is totally upfront with the risks and the possible complications related to the surgery. Dr. Keith is the best. Both his competence and bedside manner are fantastic.
