still good
somewhat disorganized with filing - I needed to keep calling to keep them "on track" My case took roughly 4 months to get scheduled. I was told that "ballpark" would be 6-8 weeks.
rather insulated - don't get to talk to him directly often - I've only seen him at the office ONCE.
only doc that I was referred to - 4 specialists think highly of him
huge !!!
yes
information and research

not applicable right now - pre-surgery
very nice man, answered all questions to my satisfaction.
office staff is great, very friendly and even remembered me from the seminar which i attended 2 mos prior to my first office visit.
aftercare is stressed!....
what i found most useful is the binder of info given to me...i refer to it over and over and over again, especially the part re: nutrition
Dr. Keith was very professional. He and his staff went the extra mile to make sure I knew all the facts. From the beginning to the end. He was caring and concerned about me. My husband went with me to every appointment and Dr. Keith welcomed him and his questions.
Due to the rapid growth of his office, the office staff has gone through changes. So far they have made every effort to assure my well being.
Really there is nothing I don't like about Dr. Keith. He has been great to work with.
His follow-up care has been great. He has given me helpful ideas to continue the weight loss. He always has a encouraging word for me.
When I first went to Dr. Keith, he was completely honest about the risks.
As far as which is better, they all are important in the road to healing. But, I would rate surgical competence as number one. Afterall, you need a physician that can perform the surgery correctly and compentent.
I want to first off say that Dr Keith and his Staff are wonderful. I kinda got started off with Dr Keiths office after a former Surgeon whom I had been working with a year to get approval and decided he was no longer going to do the RNY surgery. So when I called Dr Keiths office I was kinda upset.
I was greeted with some very sweet people who told me not to worry that they would do what they could to get me back on track and ready to go. They did just that. I am scheduled for surgery September 2, 2004. I just want anyone to know if you are trying to decide on a surgeon Dr Keiths Office is wonderful.
Dr. Keith is great! He performed my hubby's surgery in Oct. 2003 and did a terrific job! Office staff was very friendly and helpful! I was worried I would have to wait several months for my surgery, I wanted to have it done during the summer while my son is out of school. I had my first consult with Dr. Keith on June 16 and all my preop appointments are scheduled for June 28 & July 1, surgery date is July 12! I can't believe they got me in within a month! Dr. Keith strongly emphasizes aftercare. My family and I moved to Springfield, MO. from Oklahoma the first of this year and my hubby still goes back to Dr. Keith for his aftercare. His aftercare is very structured as well. I would recommend Dr. Keith to everyone!
