I really liked Dr. Davis right off the bat. He came to the door and called my name himself and escorted me to the room. He was very friendly and took as much time as I needed to answer any questions. The last time I met Dr. Davis I actually liked him even more and I felt better about my decission to choose him for my doctor. He seems very confident of his ability as a surgeron. Dr. Davis's staff (Joan) has been there to answer any and all questions I have had. I guess what I least liked about Dr. Davis was the lack of lots of aftercare. He does want to see you often but I would like to belong to a local support group. There maybe one that I dont know about, I need to research it out. This has all happened so fast I have not had time for it to really register yet. Dr. Davis did address the risks of surgery and had me read about all the risks and initial all after I read stating that I understood them. That part was really scary but Dr. Davis explained that any surgery is dangerous and staying the size I am is dangerous also. On a scale of one to ten right now I would rank Dr. Davis a 8. I will rerank him after surgery.
I think I am one of his first patients for the roux en y. He comes highly recommended to me by my PCP and Gynecologist. I just had a total hystorectomy so, as always, I fully respect and trust my doctors when they say Dr. Davis is great. I met with him once and he is a friendly man. His patients REALLY seemed to love him and, I heard many nice comments about him in the waiting room.
