HE LISTENS TO YOUR CONCERNS, ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS AND TAKES THE TIME TO JUST ASK HOW YOU ARE DOING AND ANYTHING OTHER THAN SURGERY HAPPENEING. HE IS THE ONLY DOCTOR I HAVE EVER MET AND I HAVE SEEN A FEW ACTUALLY LISTENED TO MY HEATH ISSUES AND TOOK THEM ONE AT A TIME AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS AS TO WHY IT IS HAPPENING OR WHAT CAUSES IT.rnTHE LADIES IN THE OFFICE..NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING THEY ARE. THEY ANSWER QUESTIONS AND THEY CALL YOU BACK ASAP.rnTHEY WORK AROUND YOUR SCHEDULE AND DO NOT MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE FOR BEING THE WEIGHT YOU ARE. THEY ARE JUST AS SUPPORTIVE WHEN YOU HAVE THE TINIEST WEIGHT LOSS TO THE BIGGEST.LOLrnGREAT BUNCH OF LADIES...

My surgery is schduled for Jan 20,2009 with Dr. Kruger. He is the nicest Doctor I have ever met!!! I am very happy with him!! I just saw him on Jan 9, 2009 for my pre op appointment!! I will keep you posted!!!!

Dr Kruger is an excellent surgeon. I had my surgery on 09/09/08 and I must say the after care I received was excellent. rnAftercare plays an important role with Dr. Kruger. You must sign a contract that you will go to the monthly support groups.rnThe staff is great, always confirming appts and keeping you posted as you go along.rnI highly recommend Dr. Kruger..

I met with Dr Kruger on Thursday May 22ndrnI thought that he and his staff were super nice.rnrnIt feels as if I've know them a long time, they make you feel very comfortable.rnrnI am waiting to hear from them now, they said they will set up all my appointments.rnrnI am very anxious to get going with this, I am so looking forward to the lap band, to help me control my eating.rnrnDr Kruger and his staff were very informative and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Even thought they had a waiting room full of people, they took the time to answer my questions. I am so please with the staff, at Tobey hospital. I hope my journey continues to be a positive experience.rnrnJune 30,2008rn I spoke with Alan Johnson, at phychology associates. He was very nice and easy to talk to. I felt very at ease with him and we laughed alot. I thought he would be fun to have at a get together, but I can't afford the fee. lolrnrnJuly 2, 2008rnrnToday, I met with Dr. Kruger's nurse, Sue, rnshe was very nice and has a very upbeat personality. I felt a little rushed with her though. I think she may have been running a little late, because my appointment was for 1:30 and I didn't see her until 2:00. I did manage however to get all my questions in. Then I spoke with Kathy who has been making all my appointments, she has been great. She called my insurance and got approval for my stress test. Kathy then called the doctor and scehudeled my test. The people in that office work so hard and it seems to me very overwhelming.rnI hope they all had a very nice long holiday weekendrnrnrnrnHelenrnrn

Dr. Kruger gave the orientation session I attended for the WLS program at Tobey Hospital. He has a very pleasant but direct manner about him and I really appreciate those qualities in him. Throughout my nearly nine months of working with him I've always found him very professional and always willing to answer my questions and point me in the right direction for answers or resources.rnrnThe staff in his office is just as helpful as Dr. Kruger himself and they were great while scheduling my appointments and checking in with me to ensure that I had them all straight (goodness knows they tend to stack up on you when pre-ops start!)rnrnThe other great thing about this program with Tobey is that they require a pre-op support group (4 weeks, 1 night a week) and also offer post-op groups multiple weeks every month for follow up and everyone in the program strongly recommends the post-op groups to help make your surgery a success. Everyone in the program has been wonderful and supportive. I suspect to find the same on the day of my surgery as well but I'll revisit this once I've experienced that as well.rnrnIn the vein of being fair, Dr. Kruger could come off to some as slightly dismissive. I didn't feel neglected or that any of my questions went unanswered but I have little doubts that some people would take his business like approach for lack of some bedside manner. I personally just view it as \"he's a busy man.\"rnrnThe only other issue I had in the program was not with him but with my psychologist on our first visit. He asked a question in a way that caused me to feel insulted but I packaged up my reaction brougth it home and thought it through and had a discussion with him about it in my second session. He and I came to an understanding on the apparent misunderstanding and both learned something from the experience so while it would seem like a negative, to me, it turned out to be a positive.

Experienced & focused.rnNo change.rnAbove excellance. rnI liked everything about the doctor and staff.rnHe knows his Bariatrics, exceelent surgeon.rnAftercare is very important & the staff is on.rnVery well structured aftercare.rnClearly.rnFar above excellance in every aspect.rnSurgical Competence and that is what counts most.rnrnrnrnrnDr. Kruger, his nurse Michelle and his entire staff have all provided me with exceptional care from start to finish. I highly recomend this bariatric team to anyone interested in wls.

Thought Dr. Kruger was great, the team at Tobey Hospital in Wareham Ma, was very informative, they have the before surgery groups & meetings & you see the Nurtitionist & all of that was excellent. I had my surgery on the 19th of Feb 08, the who process was wonderful. I went to a seminar in early october & was scedulaed for surgery the first week of feb but wanted to go on vacation first. have not realy done much of the post op classes yet.

He was very knowledgable and understanding.rn My impression never changed he just seemed to stay as passionate and understanding as he was the first day. The staff there is the best, Michelle is the best. Both Dr. Streeter and Dr. Kruger are very professional and have heard it all. There are always questions we want to ask but are afraid to because what if no one else ever thought like this or whatever-- they have and answer appropriately. Aftercare is the best there is a hole entire support staff willing and able to help you out. The risks of sugery where explained and then explained some more. I knew risks and how they would be handled if any were to arise. The overall care I recieved and still recieve is 1-10 (10 being the best) a 100!!! I love them all over there!!!

Dr. Thomas Streeter (Wareham, MA)rnMy first impression was at the informational seminar. He was all business - but in a good way - and answered everyone's questions at the end of the video presentation.rnWhen I met with him at my consultation appointment he could not have been nicer. He put me at ease and answered any questions I had - I didn't feel rushed at all. Pleasant surprise - the chairs in the exam rooms are made for larger people! rnHis staff is fantastic - very informative and eager to help. I dealt with Kelly at his office - she is SO great!rnThe second appointment I had with him was VERY rushed. I had a bit of a wait that time, and once he came in to see me we spoke for about 2 minutes and we were done. It was so quick and caught me off guard so I wasn't able to think of my questions at that time...my suggestion (which I usually do myself) - is to write down your questions!!rnOther than that...so far Dr. Streeter (in Dr. Kruger's office) has been great. I am looking forward to my surgery and becoming a big loser!
