Dr. Billing is what we all hope to find in a doctor no matter what type of medicine they practice. He really cares about his patients and what he does for them. He is kind, friendly and funny. He takes excellent care of all his patients. He and Dr. Landerholm as a team are hard to beat for great care. I would recommend either as they are a team and you wouldn't be disappointed. My VSG was done as a day surgery and it went really well with no complications for either me or my wife. I give the whole team at Puget Sound Surgical Center a resounding 10!

The Puget Sound Surgical Clinic is the greatest. Everyone is caring and helpful and are truly there to help you. You will find them open and positive. They have an incredible surgical suite and you are never just another patient. Most of the staff have gone thru a procedure and know exactly what you feel, need or are confused about. They take care of you for a year after your procedure.

Dr. Billing was a blessing. He understood what a difficult decision weight loss surgery is, and he made it so simple....... The aftercare program really made all the difference I've lost 165 lbs., my health problems are gone and I'm enjoying every minute of life. Dr. Billing and the staff are like family, I couldn't have done it with out them.

My first impression of Dr. Billing was that he was kind and honest. He continued to make me feel at ease with each appointment. He outlined risks and benefits of different bariatric surgeries. His office staff is awesome! They are attentive to your needs, very knowledgeable, reassuring, available, and genuinely happy for your journey. There's nothing I dislike about Dr. Billing. He is very conservative with the surgery process. You must be approved for surgery by a nutritionist and psychologist. I work closely with a nutritionist and must check in with her before every fill. Dr. Billing doesn't fill your band until a month after surgery. Weightloss in the first month may not be as fast as with other programs and that can be discouraging. Aftercare is one of the main reasons I chose Dr. Billing. I am required to go see the nutrionist every month for a year to check progress and address problems. Dr. Billing or his associates are available 24/7 for problems. I also attend a support group. Dr. Billing outlined the risks of surgery more than once verbally. Overall, I would rate Dr. Billing as a top-notch doctor! I believe you need both surgical competence and bedside manner. Dr. Billing has both!

I like him. He did his job, now it is time to do mine. Really, surgery is the easy part. I know it is lame to say this and it has been said before, but the band is a tool. Owning a hammer doesn't necessarily mean you'll build a house.

My first meeting with Dr Billing was very positive, he took the time to explain the different procedures available, went through my medical and diet history to determine which option was best for me and fully explained the benefits and risks. Even after a SNAFU with an incompetent therapist that concerned him enough to red flag me as a high-risk patient, my confidence in Dr. Billing has remained high. He strongly emphasizes aftercare and works closely with several physicians, psychologists and nutrionists to help provide a structured pre-op and aftercare program for his patients. The clinic does coordinate several support groups for re-op and post-op patients, although I prefer to get my support online.rnrnI would rate Dr. Billing as an excellent surgeon. His bedside manner is a little quirky and office time is hard to secure at times, but that certainly doesn't affect his ability to make his patients feel comfortable and well cared for - he definitely wants what's best for the patient.rnrn

On my first meeting with Dr. Billings he wanted to know what I knew about the Lap Band and why I chose this particular surgery over others. He was thorough with his information to me regarding surgery risk. The day of the surgery Dr. Billings came along with his nurse to take me to the operating room. His physician Assistant was extremely warm and caring and made a lot of effort to see to my comfort. The Puget Sound Surgerical Clinic staff are professional, caring and understanding of what the patients will and are going through with the surgery and life behavior changes that will take place. Everyone has been very positive and upbeat towards me as I start my weight lost journey. So far my experiences with Puget Sound Surgical Clinic has been good.

I met Dr. Billing recently and he was informative and friendly. He showed some empathy at me being a Wish Center orphan and approved me for the fast track since I got my records. The staff at the clinic are so wonderfully nice and fun. I always feel comfortable when I come in. I feel like I'm in good hands and possibly the Wish Center closing was a blessing in disguise.
