Paul Kemmeter Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

My first impression of Dr Kemmeter was that he was very intelligent and very concerned with communicating the both the benefits and the risks of RNY. The office staff is very pleasant and very helpful, easy to deal with over the phone. Before I had a surgery date scheduled, I needed to speak w/ a nurse and got a very prompt return phone call to answer my question. There isn't anything I don't like about MMPC so far. Future patients should be aware they are very thorough in making sure that patient who need diagnostic testing get it (i.e. sleep study for sleep apnea, EKG, LOTS of blood work, etc.) They have a very structured aftercare program with 2, 4, and 6 week visits with the Surgeon or PA, the dietician and Internist, and also a behavioral group visit. Later post op visits include exercise physiologist, dietician, etc. MMPC has a small booklet that explains in detail each risk of surgery and Dr Kemmeter also disclosed their rates of complication before I asked for them. The one thing I am unhappy with is only seeing the surgeon for an initial appointment and then not seeing him again until the day of surgery. Also, another negative was having to wait 10-14 days for test results to be transcribed before they are available. However, from my initial orientation to my surgery date will be 9-10 weeks.

I liked Dr. Kemmeter right away. He was the surgeon at the orientation held by MMPC.
He was very straightforward about all the risks and requirements of the surgery. I was fortunate to make my first appointment with him and liked him even more afterward. He is very caring and understood immediately the life I had lived as a loser and a gainer. My surgery is scheduled for Aug. 10th so I'll be able to let you know even more after that.

I knew that I was in good hands from the time of my initial consult with Dr. Kemmeter. He is really soft spoken and sweet and he makes sure you know EVERYTHING you need to know. I was very grateful that I had the honor of him perfroming my surgery. All of the office staff are awesome. All of my experiences with them have been pleasant. Nurse Bernie is really wonderful!! I honestly cannot say that I have found anyhting negative to say about anyone that I have seen at MMPC. Overall I have had an exceptionally pleasing experience.

he is a super dr. he makes you feel right at home the first time you meet him.

My first impression of Dr Kemmeter was like many others...WOW He looks so young. But he put me right at ease with his knowledge of the different types of surgeries and the ones that he performs. He answered all questions that I had and fully explained the risks of the surgery. I think the thing I liked most about Dr Kemmeter(besides his vast knowledge)was the fact he is very open, honest and easy to talk with.

The only downfall I have experienced thus far is the wait. It just seems to take forever to get everything together in order to get a surgery date.

But Overall...
The entire Center For Health Excellence at MMPC is very well structured and is one I would highly recommend if you're serious about changing your way of life.

Dr Kemmeter is a very kind man. He makes sure you have all information you need to know and takes time to hear any other questions you may have. We all joked about Margaritas in the IV since I had my surgery on Cinco de Mayo... Very laid back.

The office staff at MMPC are wonderful! They are overworked but never make you feel like you are bothering them. They are there to help you and that is exactly what they do!

Dr Kemmeter is very straight forward about the risks of surgery, this is a surgery we are asking to have so they don't want you to be in the dark about any risks.

If I had to do this again I would definitely have Dr Kemmeter do it. I never hesitated my confidence in him or anyone at MMPC.

I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Kemmeter and am pleased that he is going to be my surgeon.

I went in with a list of questions, and he answered them and then some before I had a chance to even ask!

I really appreciated the fact that he took the time to explain everything to me in detail instead of rushing through the process. He was up front with the risks and benefits of surgery, and encouraged me to lose some weight so I could have my surgery done laproscopically.

So far I have no complaints with him.

I really enjoyed Dr. Kemmeter. He was very informative, his bedside manner was exceptional. He described everything about the surgery, made sure I knew all about the risks and made sure I talked to my family about the risks involved as well. I really felt that he was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about what he was talking about. I would recommend him to anyone.

First I thought ,He is young and good looking.LOL

After time my impression did not change , but I sure liked him and trusted him,and believed everything he told me.He is great.

Office Staff= They are all so understanding and help you threw it all,I feel very comfortable to call anytime no matter small or big problem's and they always call back and help me threw.They treat you like your family...

4.whatlike least= There is nothing I didn't like about HIM or his STAFF,They are the BEST.

5. Everyone should know he is straight with you and tell's you how it is!!! And is very nice and very good at explaining; and very good bed side manner,Answers all questions..

6.Yes,They have aftercare program's that are so helpful,That is how I was able to fined this sight....
7. Rate Him= THE BEST!!!!
