I saw a commercial he did for bon Secor the day I had my first appoitment with him. He said it was the first time it was shown, I think that is good luck. He's very reputable, very nice,very knowlegable. I asked him if he plays music in the OR he said yes. He has an ipod . i requested Sweet Home Alabama. we both laughed but i think he'll do it! rnI didn't get to meet him till 5 days before the operation , although he conducted the info session (7 months ago). His staff is wonderful. he has a nurse named Jennie, she talks really fast. So you have to tell her to slow down, she will. Hilarie is the paperwork Diva. She is amazing! any thing having to deal with insurence or testing reports. The office staff is also wonderful.

A great doctor. Made sure my husband and I were clear on every aspect of the surgery. Answered all of our questions and made me feel really confident in his work. His death and complication rate are almost 0.

I felt like I knew Dr. Hutcher before I even met him! I have done so much research online, and have seen several shows where he was a guest. When my husband and I finally met him, he was amazing! He made me feel right at ease. He was very easy to talk to, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I felt so much better after meeting with him. Now I'm just ready to get it done and start my new life!

Great Plumber, but went to New Orleans after my 6am consult the day after surgery. Someone told me that the surgeon was simply a plumber and that once he was done you would need to find someone else in his office to help get through other more mundane problems associated with daily life. The surgery was the easy part I think, eveything went down hill shortly afterwards.

This man is awesome!! Very nice- to the point!! I really like him! he did a wonderful job. He has also operated on my mom and cousin, and as well did a fantastic job!! I am very happy with whom I picked!!!!

When I first met Dr. Hutcher, he was very open and caring. He look like he was old(lol)but he was very upbeat. I felt like I could trust him with my life. Oh my, the office staff is wonderful, they answer all of my questions and concerns that I have. I will definetly refer anyone that is wanted this surgery to him. Dr. Hutcher sat down with me several times before and during my hospital stay, of the things that I had to do after surgery. Overall, Dr. Hutcher is 10 being the highest score. I think both are great.

I have went to the informational meeting with DR HUTCHER. OK, I am hooked, this man is wonderful. I am glad I decided to switch surgeons. rnrnDr Hutcher, is the nicest man you could ever come in contact with. He is truly my savior. rnrnDr. Hutcher has been a saint to me and my family. With everything that has gone wrong in my life, since surgery, he has always been there. I thank him and his wonderful Staff Forever.

Awesome person. Truly cares about the obese patient, a life saving person. An advocater for weightloss sugery also. He has a wonderful bedside manner. My first impression, well he was my mothers surgeon first, so had a great first impression, and it never changed. His office staff is knowledgeable. I really have nothing bad to say about him, he is truly the best doctor out there for this surgery. He knows what he is talking about, he makes sure you know all the risks and everything you have to do in advance to ever getting the surgery. He is upfront with this surgery not being the magical cure, that it is just a tool to work with. I know this list says noone is 100 percent great, but he is.

First Impression: Very knowlegeable and good at putting you at ease. He taught a session of the initial orientation seminar. His staff is excellent at remembering this is your first time even though they deal with this stuff daily and have for years. They have some special ways they do things that are above and beyond required standard procedure to ensure patient success. I felt very educated and prepared before surgery and they have been there for me after surgery. Dr. Hutcher is excellent. He gets a 10 from me.
