I first met Dr. Todd at a support group meeting here in Kodiak. I had attended with a great friend who had had her surgery 8 months prior. She was my inspiration!rnrnDr. Todd is such a soft spoken man, but to the point. I went thru orientation and my consultation with him, and came away from both appointments very confident in my decision. rnrnThe office staff is fabulous. It was great that so many of the really 'knew what you were talking about\"! Everyone was friendly, helpful and kind.

My first impression of Dr. Todd is that he cares a lot about his patients. He is a very warm person and very spiritual. He and his wife have 5 adopted children some with disabilities. He brought them to a meeting once and he was just such a sweetheart with them. After every appointment he gives me a big hug and says hang in there. Their business is just growing so rapidly. His is pretty much the only office in town that does this surgery. I don't think there is anything I don't like about Dr. Todd. He always has the staff take a picture of you when you come in because he thinks it's so very important to have that so you can see your progress. I think that future patients should feel good about going with Dr. Todd for this surgery. This is what he does. He is excellent. His office does have a structured aftercare program. Support meetings which they come to. Followup appointments to check on your progess. They have really emphasized the aftercare program and have given me strict guidelines to follow and they have their own website to utilize. He explained the risks of surgery to me and I have done my homework. I feel comfortable. I would rate Dr. Todd a 10. I know so many people that have had their surgery with Dr. Todd and all are doing so well. I think Dr. Todd has a wonderful bedside manner and great surgical competence. I feel really good about going there.

My first impression of Dr. Todd was that he is a very caring Dr. He has continued to be a very kind and professional . His office staff is great and very helpfull always ready to answer your questions and be a shoulder to cry on. It is very important to follow Dr. Todd's instructions before and after surgery It's for your own good. It is very important to attend SGM. They are very educational and you meet alot of nice people going through pre.op and post op. surgery. The Todd squad is super great. These are only my experience's and opions other people may feel diferently. Dr.Searles was also my Dr. and he is also a great Doctor friendly, caring and informative.

My first impression of Dr. Todd was very professional and extremely busy, second impression very very in tune with each patient while with them, you are the only one in his world when you are there. If you Choose Dr. Todd and he agrees to take care of your health issue, be prepared to wait he will take care of you and only you when it is your turn so allow him to do the same for others during their time with him. He is a man of God and he actually wants to remember your name from the first time he sees you even in a room of 20 people. He was and is very careful to make sure I am going to be as safe a possible. I prefer surgical competence over anything else when it comes to cutting me it is not a popularity contest; it is life and death anytime you’re under the knife. The only problem I have is the distance I live form the ABC, that is not an issue it is spendy to get to Anchorage but Dr. Todd's staff is and does everything in their power to make my trips to the office the same day as other required pre-op evaluations they do their best to make it an easy journey. Thank you

Now I have a date and m ready to go, here is my overall evaluation of the Todd Squad: I chose this route for my Bariatric Surgery because of several things but the first Orientation meeting when I met Dr. Todd my gut instinct and my little voice of my Guardian Angel said, This is all good. I have had no reservations whatsoever about my choice in Dr. Todd as my surgeon. The support staff in Dr. Todd’s office does everything in their power to make arrangements work for out of town patients like myself. I was frustrated in the delays because I needed more medical evaluations as time went on. Now when I look back at all the things medically going wrong with me over the past four to five years that were not detected because they just happened over the course of time, I am delighted that all these tests were done. I am on the medication required to make me feel better and I will probably will be able to stop taking all but one of my daily medications after the surgery and healing is done. I have seen several of my friends in the past have this procedure and they are doing great. When I had my last appointment with Dr. Todd after the final clearance he placed his hands over mine and prayed out loud, that to me is the bottom line, what happens in the OR is in the hands of God and with a praying doctor what can go wrong? God Bless
