This is Sara's mom. My daughter is 16 years old. After extensive and exhausting research on this surgery, how could I deny my beautiful daughter a new life? My daughter loves Dr. Hoddinott. He listens and doesn't rush through appointments.
His staff is wonderful. Phyllis has been a pleasure to work with. She has been getting all the referrals that we need and has been keeping me updated all the way.
He addressed all the risks with my daughter and he has been very honest with her. She knows exactly what to expect without any hesitation.
We haven't really gotten to the aftercare just yet.
3/12/01 - Sara had her surgery on 3/7. Dr.Hoddinott was the best! He is very supportive and surgery better than anticipated. I would recommend Dr. Hoddinott above anyone else.
Well, he is very sure of his skills. And lets the patient ask questions and doesnt pressure you into a choice. I have gained confidence in him over time.
His staff is very helpful in setting up appointments and working with the insurance company.
I really liked Dr. Hoddinott. He was very down to earth, talked to me about all the risks and all the benefits of the surgery. He answered all my questions. I am glad I went to him and I would recommend him to anyone.
I had my initial consult today. I was met with a smiling face by all in this office. Everyone was sooooo nice.I really liked Dr. Hoddinott, he took the time to answer every question I had and he didn't try to rush me out of the office for the next person to see. Phyllis and Rhonda were great, they all had a great sense of humor and provided me with alot of info about the surgery and the follow-up diet.....My new eating regime for my new life... :o) I do have one obstacle to over come with little time to do it in. I need to quit smoking...
Dr. Hoddinott has a great bedside manner and explains all aspects of this surgery...good and bad. I would definately recomend him as someone to help you change your life for the better. I don't think I could have picked a better surgeon, and the office staff is wonderful!!!
