My first impression of him was that he is a really caringa d compassionate doctor. He was very thorough in his explanation of what my surgery will entail. I have only met with him once but I will see him again the morning of my surgery and then afterwards.

You cannot beat his office staff. They really know what they are doing when it comes to getting people that want this surgery approved and ready to have surgery. They tell you exactly what you have to do and help you get it done. They are really friendly and encouraging so I am sure that I am going to have a great care before and after the surgery. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Oldham and his entire office staff totally emphasize aftercare. They have a structured aftercare program.

Dr. Oldham discussed throroughly all the risks of surgery on the day I met him.

I would definitely rate him a 10 overall.

I think both are great and Dr. Oldham has both which reassures me in knowing that I am in great hands all the way around. BUT he can only do so much - he gives me this tool and I have to use it appropriately to make it work. It will not do all the work for me - I am in control and have to follow the rules!

Dr. Oldham is very personable from the first time you meet him, the first time I went to Georgetown for surgery my blood preasure was a little high and he suggested we get it a little better under control and within a week and a half I was back up there and I was his only patient that day there at Georgetown. So I would say that pretty much sums him up.

I met Dr. Oldham today for the first time and right off the bat I liked him. Easy to talk to, listened to every concern I had, answered all my questions and was encouraging. Felt extremely comfortable with him and feel like I'm in good hands with him. Would highly recommend Dr. Oldham and Bluegrass Bariatric Surgical Associates in Lexington, KY.rnrnDuring surgery and hospital stay I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. He was in to see me 2 to 3 times a day. He was attentive and listened to my concerns and was reassuring. Would highly recommend him.

My first impression of Dr Oldham was that he was very quiet and maybe a little shy. The office staff at BBSA was very kind, considerate, caring, and seemed to have everything in order. The staff at Central Baptist was very nice and professionaly also. My insurance refused my surgery (for the lap band) completely, at Georgetown. When I heard about the doctors coming to Lexington I was very excited and had already decided I was going to pay out of pocket. Once I consulted with the PA's in Lexington, this is when I found out more and decided to go with the Gastric Sleeve procedure. Dr Oldham, all his staff, and all the staff at CBH were great to work with during my pre and post op. I can't say enough good things about this group of people.

Simply great! He is a truly a fine person and was there before surgery talking to me and seeing if I was ok and ready to go.rnrnThe operation was new to the hospital actually I was the first to get the surgery there - Baptist Hospital East - wonderful people there and all went very fine. I woke up and there were six nurses around me all looking at the incisions going wow there is hardly anything there, I have six small ones they were amazed. I thought that I had died and these were angels. rnrnThere is nothing that I disliked about doctor Oldham or Dr. Weiss at Bluegrass bariatrics really has it all covered - his staff & everything. rnrnPrecare & aftercare programs in place I could not have asked for a better doctor. They make sure you understand that WLS is just a tool in your journey to become a healthier individual. They have a structered aftercare program and always have your next appointment lined up for you. They want to help make sure that you are well cared for. His surgical competence and bedside manner are excellent.

Having been a previous WLS patient of Dr. Oldham, I already knew him and his staff fairly well. Dr. Oldham and staff are all very nice and respectful people. They are extremly imformative and eager to answer any questions that a patient has. Their aftercare program is fenominal. The risks of surgery were discussed in full various times preoperative, and opportunity to ask questions was given at all times. I had all faith that I was in good hands with Dr. Oldham. The success rate of the clinic speaks for itself, and his incredible bedside mannor is unbeatable. I couldn't ask for a better surgeon or staff to assist me in this journey!
