Jamal Farhan Bariatric Surgeon

I was told Dr Farham was cold and impersonal but, I didn't find this to be true. He is very experienced and professional but, I felt comfortable with him. He told me what to expect and went thru all the risk and complications with me. I felt he was behind me in my choice of surgery, I had a band removed 4.5 months before and he wants you to wait 4-6 months for the stomach to heal from the damage done by the band. He also made me feel that yes, it was the band and not me. I can't say the same for all of the staff.

Hurley has some great staff but, unfortunately some of the great staff that was there when I was banded is no longer there. Some of the new staff has an agenda and it is so sad as this surgeon and the program with after care support groups is very good.

Excellent doctor and staff. Very happy with there services they all provided. A real class act!!!!

i had my surgry 6years ago, i lost 150lbs and i'm still the same size now as i was 1yr. after it. i feel great and doing good, i don't drink soda pop at all!! and i'm still eating healthy. if someone said would you do it again, i would have to say yes it's worth it. More engery, eating well my sugar is normal,and i feel GREAT. Thank You Dr.Farhan and nurses, for doing a great job and giveing me my life back.!! i have now got to be blessed with a grandson also a new great grandson thanks to getting my surgery'. without it i may not be hear. Dr. Farhan made me feel so good about the descision I have made. He explained that this is the missing tool I have needed for so long to achieve success in my weight loss journey.

The office staff at Hurley Bariatric are wonderful. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and as if you are the only patient they have.

Very caring, intelligent man. Definitely knows whats best for each person. I haven't had surgery yet.

My first Counciltation was with Dr Farhan. He seemed very nice. Was very concerned with my choice for lap band and suggested VSG. After much studie I have agreed this is a good choice for me. He explained it to me but the internet is a wonderful thing too. Dr. Farhan was a very nice man I only meet him getting my surgery started and 2 days after my surgery was over before I went home.He Is the man that has helped save my life. His staff who I have meet and talked with are very nice. I am 7 weeks out now and I love my sleeve. I have had no problem at all..

his staff was great but i realy didn't like him at first. i felt he did't want to do the surgery. after i talked with him i knew i was going to go through with it. his staff was good at making shure you came to all of your aftercare program. dr. farham told me all about the risk and about other surgerys that i could choose from. his surgical competence was great, i have had great results.

fantastic! staff is great Follow up is Great. Very professional and sensitive. The Surgeon and his staff fully familiarized me with the surgery and its possible complications. I had visits at 2 wks, 1 month, 3months, and am due for my 6 month visit in November then a 1 year visit followed by a 1.5 year visit.rnrnI would recomend the surgeons at Hurley Bariatric Center for anyone. I am very pleased with the way they have taken care of me.

I have only met with Dr Farhan 1 time so far. It was just my consultation. He seemed very interested in what I wanted to know and made sure I understood all his answers. I cant wait to see him again!

The office staff at the Hurley Bariatric Center has been great. I've had problems in the past getting insurance approval for the procedure and they were very helpful in contacting my primary care physician and assisting her in providing the required information necessary to get the surgery approved. I was so surprised when they called on July 30th and said the surgery was approved. rnrnI only met with Dr. Farhan on my initial visit and I felt very comfortable with him. I will be able to provide more feedback when I see him on my pre-surgery appt.
