Dr. Cahill is listed in January 2010 issue of Chicago Magazine as one of the BEST doctors for WLS. Because of his reputation, the hospital he works for has been recognized as the Center for Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery and I am very pleased with his track record, his support staff, his team of doctors and nurses and overall concern about your health prior to the procedure. In addition, his team seemed genuinely concerned about my revision and did not force me to make any decisions too fast. I appreciate the fact that they care and extra kudos to his nurse coordinator, Tony R. who is an angel this side of heaven!!!

I love Dr. Cahill what more can I say! I started off at St. James in Olympia Fields, then Dr. Cahill moved my surgery to St. Margaret Mercy in Dyer and since then I have worked with all three offices. I love Tony; he will give it to you straight from the hip. Tony has a boat load of information and is willing to share it with you; you will get all of your questions answered. Donna is lovely and so helpful and patience with me as I can be a handful sometime. Donna helped me get my husband scheduled for all of his testing in a short amount of time. Tina is great she handles the Olympia Fields office and knows everyone of Dr. Cahill patients from this office. Tina is on top of her game! Tina always comes up with new and exciting ways to make the support groups fun. Over the last few months support groups have grown so much due to her hard work. Tina is very patience with me as well, as I do act as if my husband and I are Dr. Cahill’s only patients. rnrnDr. Cahill is Great and a Lifesaver. The team Tony, Donna and Tina are a super team. These are my Super Heroes. Thank you for giving me my life back and allowing my husband and me a chance to spend many more years together. rn

I first met Dr. Cahill back in April of 2002. i had my open GP on June 11, 02. I had researched different doctors and programs extensively. Dr. Cahill was without question the best. Early May, 09 i walked back into Dr. Cahill's office; Today i am prepping for my revision surgery. Dr. Cahill is incredibly professional and informative. He does keep his office visits moving; you can get an impression he is rushing at times but i think thats just his personality- HIGH TEMPO. As far as the other staff- Donna is fantastic and I could literally write forever about Tony Romeo. I would highly recommend Dr. Cahill and his entire staff to anyone interested in having weight loss surgery.
My first impression of Dr. Cahill was that is was very professional and knowledgeable. He was up front and through about the proceedures available. We talked in length about my options. Because I had two previous abdominal surgeries we both agreed that Lapband and not RNY might be a better option.I am one of Jehovah's witnesses and I don't take blood transfusions and he said they he would have a venus filter inserted to prevent blood clots. The surgery was a great success and I know I could not have been in better hands. Dr. Cahill's team is the best in the world. Tony and Donna made the who process seem effortless. I am looking forward to participating the the aftercare program.
I love Dr. Cahill!! He is well known and comes highly recommended. When I had my 1st consultation with him, he took his time explaining my options to me. He made me feel at ease and once I left his office I was sure that I chose the correct surgeon to do my surgery.
If you look up Baratric surgerons in Illinois you will find his name right away. When I asked my PCP to refer me to someone he referred me to Dr. Cahill. When I requested information from the tv Dr. Cahill was listed in the packet....
My first impression of Dr. Cahill is that he was extremely knowledgeable, capable and thorough. He made my daughter and I feel comfortable and answered all of our questions with the utmost detail and genuine concern. She is an only child and therefore had plenty and more questions. I had begun this journey with another doctor from this site, but seemed over arrogant. Dr. Cahill was very nice and I loved his demeanor and bedside manor. It never changed from the day I went in for my pre-op consult, until the day of surgery and afterwards. Tony, is the king who made things happen and kept my head on straight when I worried about insurance and other things. He always said, \"what did I tell you', he was always right. Please listen to him. Call him when you're worried. He's keeps the business - to the point - but always on top of it. They did address the risks of surgery on several occasions. I would rate them 10/10.Dr. Cahill, Donna and Tony are at the top of their game. They know their business. I am so glad I chose this awesome bariatric team!!!

I liked Dr. Cahill the first time I met him at a Lap-band seminar so when I decided to have an RNY there was no question who I wanted to be my surgeon. I had the RNY done by lap which most MD's told me would be near impossible because of my excess size.rn The other staff were also helpful but the one person that has been the biggest help has been the dietician, Lisa. The aftercare for nutrition follow-up has been great. Being given the right tools to eat healthy and be happy with WLS has been one of the best gifts I could have been given. When I have my yearly follow up February 2009 I will miss seeing the staff on a regular basis. They truly are the best!
