DR. ZORN WAS SO NICE AT OUR FIRST MEETING.AT THE HOSPITAL HE WAS ALWAYS RIGHT THERE FOR ME. HIS OFFICE STAFF WERE VERY NICE TO ME, I HAD NO PROBLE. DR ZORN IS EVERYTHING YOU WOULD WANT FROM A SURGEON!! YOU'RE GIVING ALL THE INFORMATIOM BEFORE AND AFTER.HE GOES OVER ALL YOUR AFTER CARE WITH YOU.HE WORKS WITH YOU AS A PERSON,ITS ALL ABOUT YOU. HE ADDRESSED THE RISKS OF SURGERY,WITHOUT MAKING YOU WANT TO TURN AND RUN AWAY.COMPETENCE AND BEDSIDE MANNER ARE ONE THING.I WOULD RATE DR. ZORN 100%
My first impressions of Dr. Zorn were at the information that I attended in Bakersfield, back in January. I was impressed with his ability to clearly explain the surgery, risks, and benefits in a way that I could understand! I tend to be rather like a stick, intellectually speaking, so it was nice to understand what he was talking about. My surgical consultation confirmed the first impressions - no rushing through the visit. Dr. Zorn took the time to answer questions and talked again about the aftercare and the importance of exercise. Very encouraging.
On initial meeting he seemed very quiet, not rushed, though I know he was behind. He took the time to explain everything to me and even called my husband in, after examining me, to explain procedure to him. He also answered his questions. He was confident and seemed to have a good sense of humor. Aftercare is extremely important to all the docs at Pac Bar.
Dr. Zorn is very pleasant and easy to talk to. He is not condenscending in his manner and is obviously very experienced in his profession. The office center itself is designed for larger people with heavier seating and space. The office staff were polite. I wish I had been given more time to speak with him during my consult. Take the time to have all of your questions written down so he can review them with you. Dr. Zorn is a strong believer in aftercare support groups, exercise and lifestyle changes. He constantly talks about these issues. There is a structured after surgery program. Dr. Zorn did discuss risks and complications of surgery at the education seminar. I am confident to have him as my surgeon. He has done about 1000 bariatric surgeries and is highly qualifed and recommended by other hospital personnel.
Dr. Zorn is a very kind and caring man. He took his time explaining everything that was going to happen and what to do for the best results from wls. Even at one month post-op he was still the kind gentle man I met at my pre-op meeting.
His office staff were very helpful and professional. Dr. Zorn is a great choice for anyone thinking about this surgery. He performed my laproscopically and my scars are very minimal.
He is very clear in what he expects from you and makes you want to do it right! He is very frank about the risks of having surgery and does not leave your side with any unanswerred questions.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him a 10! He is not only kind and with great bedside manner but he is also an expert who does an excellent job in his profession.
I really like Dr. Zorn. He is friendly and a caring person. He seems to have good bed side manners.
His staff was very helpful and a delight to visit.
There isn't anything that I didn't like about Dr. Zorn.
He talked about what I should be doing to prepare me for surgery. He also talked about what to do after surgery.
I would rate him a 9
My first impression of him was that he appeared to be very kind, he was willing to take the time to answer my questions. He spent time talking to me about the procedure and the aftercare that would be required. He did not make me feel as though he needed to finish up with me and move on to the next patient. My impression of him has not changed in any negative way. He has impressed me with his dedication and concern regarding my well being and knowledge of what is required for recovery. His office staff is very professional. He is of course a very busy man, he is in and out of his office. There have been times that I wanted to speak to a nurse regarding questions and concerns that I had. The nurses were very helpful and I always have had my calls returned as promised. Dr. Zorn himself has returned calls, ON A WEEKEND!! I must be very truthful, the thing that I least like about Dr. Zorn is that I can't fold him up and put him in my purse or pocket to have him readily available for me (and only me)whenever I need and want to be reassured about my care or progress. Future patients should know that they will be in very capable hands. He is very professional, he is caring, very experienced, and in my opinion they will be very glad to have him as their surgeon. Dr. Zorn has a very structured aftercare program. He accomodates patients both near and far. Overall I give him a 5 star rating. His bedside manner, competence are both great. He is as I stated previously a very kind man.
