My dr was Dr Farid Elias,
I must say he and his staff were excellent. He is very nice and listens to what you have to say. The staff at Jeanette District Memorial Hospital were very nice as well. They were constantly checking on me to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Elias is strict on what I'm allowed to eat, I'm not sure if all Dr's are like this or not. He still wants me strickly on proteins veal, chicken, fish, beef, pork and egg whites. I have tried other things like mashed potatoes and apple sauce which I learned was a big no no, due to the starch in the potatoes and the sugar in the applesauce. So I'm back to proteins until I see him again in one month. I would do this all over again in a heart beat. So far it has been worth it.

Dr. Elias is a very caring and excellent surgeon. Always greets you with a smile and a firm handshake and makes you feel totally comfortable. He is very concientious about getting you up and out of bed as soon as possible after surgery to prevent blood clots and jump start the healing process. Overall I would say that my surgical experience went very well with him.

I went to meet dr. elias yesterday and boy he is the best i have ever met. kind, caring, honest, and funny. i would recomend his to everyone. the office people were great, they had my insurance approved in 45 minutes. and i left the office with my surgery scheuduled. he made sure i understood all the risks and benefits of the rny before i left. seeing doctor elias was the best decision i ever made.

HE PUT ME COMPLETELY AT EASE WITH HIS MANNERISM. I HAVE A HYATEL HERNIA AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT NOT BEING A CANDIDATE BECAUSE OF IT. HE DISMISSED IT WITH A WAVE OF HIS HAND LIKE HE TAKES CARE OF THEM EVERY DAY JUST FOR FUN.

ANTOINETTE IS THE STAFF PERSON WHO WORKED WITH ME AND KEPT UP WITH EVERYTHING. SHE WAS WONDERFUL.

I HAVE REFERRED SEVERAL PEOPLE TO HIM SO FAR.

HE LIKES TO FOLLOW VERY CLOSLY AFTERWARD. IN HIS OWN WORDS "WE WOULD BE GOING THROUGH IT TOGETHER."

verry wonderfull and experianced, done at local hospital , what a relief for family and friends, great doc...

I really liked Dr. Elias right away. He seemed very compasionate and understanding.
