David Miles Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr Miles did a wonderful job on my surgery. I do have complaintsome about his office staff. They were very unorganized. It was hard to get a call back about important issues. Several of my coworkers had the exact experience as I did. One friend called his office twice to schedule an appointment to have the lap band and to this day has never had a call back. There is one lady there that pretty much runs the office, all I can say is what a mess the office is. Don't get me wrong, he is a great Doctor and if you can get past his office help then you will be in good care. Maybe with enough reviews on the his help it might improve things for others.

From the first time I stepped in Dr. Miles's office (Oct. 2012) I was welcomed by smiling faces and comforting words. Throughout my 6 months of visiting the office I was encouraged, informed and guided by the staff, PA, and nurse. I felt like this is truly where I needed to be! i was never nervous about asking a question, or calling if I ever had a question. Leading up to the time of my surgery I felt excited to be on my journey to weightloss and the greatest me I could be. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Miles's services to anyone!!

One of the most professional, yet friendly doctor's ofc I have been to. The education and the pre-op protocol was outstanding. I appreciated the honesty and in depth interest, and thoroughness of every facet of the procedure. My pre-op and post-op care was made personal and is still on-going as of this date (18months post-op). I have lost 87 of the 100 pounds I had set as my goal. I am maintaining the weight loss and feel great. I would reccomend Dr. Miles to anyone who is serious about this path and willing to be honest, and follow his instructions for life. This is not a "quick fix", it is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. His staff, with special notice to Lenny and Helen, are there for you and will go out of their way to answer any question or address any situation you might have.

Great Dr., great office staff, there is nothing I can say bad about any of them!! I would HIGHLY recomend Dr. David Miles and staff to anyone. Super , super group!!!

Dr. Miles and the whole crew were amazing! So glad I had them to help me through my decision. Had gastric bypass on the 3rd. Of Oct. 2011. It was a breeze.

I have not had my surgery yet, but so far, so good! I had my first appointment in February and have been progressing through all of the hoops I need to jump through before they can schedule my surgery. I cannot compare him to others, because I have only dealt with this office, but I have had a wonderful experience so far. Dr. Miles and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and concerned about my well-being. Dr. Miles and his PA both have a great bedside manner. As for surgery..... we will see in a few months! :) Seeing as he has a wonderful track record, I am confident in having him perform my surgery.

Dr.Miles has been nothing but a pleasure to work with. He truly cares about his patients and that comes through on every level.

Dr. David Miles and his staff are really great. I include his staff because they are a big part of the whole process, Helen is very informative and she gets the job done. Period! lol... My first impression was gosh he's young, I thought he would be alot older. He takes his time with you and is very informative. Got a question? He'll answer it. Confused? He will make sure you understand whatever your concern is. I am only two weeks post op right now so as far as the post op aftercare I cant speak much on, however Helen did sit down with me at my first post op appt and she spent a long time with me going over medications, vitamins, etc... Overall I would give them a rating of 10 out of 10. Dr Miles showed his face 3 times after my surgery just to check in on me and talk with me. His bedside manner and surgical competence is awesome. I had no complications and was home in 48hours, if i had to do it all over again... I would. rnTanya Thompson

I just want to say I really like the way Dr. Miles has taken care of me from the surgery to the problems I had afterwards. I think he is a great surgeon and really knows what he's doing. He makes sure you understand what has to be done to be successful in the weight loss. I would recommend him to anybody!

So far I am pleased with the office for the most part. I thought they took awhile getting a date for my surgery but I dont know maybe things were hectic since it was around Christmas time.
