I was impressed at the \"seminar\". The Benefits and Risks of having the differenct types of weight loss surgery were discussed and written materials provided for those who were considering the surgery. rnrnDr. Kim's office staff have done all the hard work--getting insurance approval etc. When I met face to face with Dr. Kim, he discussed more specifically all risks involved for me and all the potential benefits of WLS if I did my part. rnrnDue to my age and health history, the Lap Band procedure was chosen by Dr. Kim. I wanted to attended the 2-hr pre-op education class prior to making a final decision but that was not an option. Dr. Kim was adamant that using additional staff resources was for persons who were decided about the surgery.rnrnI understood that. Dr. Kim is there to help those who have decided to make a committment to help themselves. Anyone considering weight loss surgery should do their homework by going to the seminar provided by Dr. Kim and his staff, reading the iinformation that is provided after the seminar and doing some research on the internet.rnrnI'll get back after my surgery on the 9th to let you know how it went.rnrnGail

First off, let me say that his facility is just awesome! It looks like a fancy spa resort and everything is top of the line!! It is just FANTASTIC! That being said, Dr. Kim and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Kim was quiet and kind. He took as much time as I needed and even drew me grafts and crunched numbers! He took my lifestyle and family into consideration when he suggested what was right for me. I really feel I made te best choice in choosing Dr. Kim. I can not wait to start this journey and I know with his help, I will reach my goal.

I know that this is the doctor for me. Not only is he local but he is one of the top surgens in my area. I am looking forward in contacting them and getting started on my weight loss.rn

I was impressed from the start with Dr. Kim's caring attitude. He didn't seem to look down on anyone for being obese, but genuinely wants to help.rnrnThe office staff is great. They are very friendly and helpful. Only once did I feel that my question wasn't answered, but when it was brought to their attention, it was more than made up for. rnrnI love the support group meetings. I've only attended one at this point, but found it very helpful and it was nice to meet other folks at all phases of the journey. I like that they are serious about post-op support. Pam offers exercise classes and runs the support group. There are speakers and everyone has a chance to contribute or ask questions.rnrnBefore my surgery I asked hospital staff about Dr. Kim and to a person they were impressed with his attitude and skills as a surgeon.rnrnI'd highly recommend Dr. Kim and his staff to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! He is extremely humble and personable. I immediately liked him. As soon as he begins speaking about his practice, you can tell how passionate he is about his work. I've NEVER met a doctor that gave me an impression of being passionate about helping people...especially people that most people have nothing but disgust for...a bunch of people that do nothing but eat and feel sorry for themselves. Dr. Kim sees each person and patient as a human...an individual. rnrnMy first one-on-one meeting with him was exactly what I expected. He was smiling the entire time. I felt like he was truly glad I was there to see him. rnrnHis staff is so open and friendly. They recognized me the second time I was there. They even knew I had a different hairstyle from my first visit. That is some attention to detail. He has a few people on his staff who he has even treated via bariatric surgery. rnrnI have yet to find anything I dislike.rnrnAftercare is extremely important. But at the same time, you are solely responsible for your results. You reap what you sow. If you don't give it your all, you won't be as successful. And they are very up front about this. rnrnThey are very upfront about all of the risks involved with each type of surgery.rnrnDr. Kim and his staff are all 10s!!!!rnrnSurgical competence and beside manner - I was bowled over by both. I'm so excited to have chosen Dr. Kim for my surgery and I look forward to each visit with him and his staff!!

Dr. Kim performed my lap band surgery and will be doing the revision to gastric sleeve this December. I came to him by his reputation before he started advertising. He is a gentle, soft spoken man, dedicated to his field. I have known several of his patients and have yet to hear a complaint.

I really liked Dr. Kim. He never made me feel like I asked stupid questions and always took my calls if there were any issues. His staff is great! They helped me with the paperwork and the entire experience was wonderful....and easy!! I liked Dr. Kim and his staff so much that when my husband had surgery 2 weeks after me, for hernia repair, it was Dr. Kim and his staff who took care of both of us! rnrnI would definitely recommend him to everyone. my surgeon is a wonderful and caring and concerned man i knew from the start this man is the surgeon for me he really cares about his patients and is very strict which i like cause that is the key to suceess with the lap band and his office staff is wonderfull never made me feel like i was bothering them when i would call to ask questions and they always made sure i had all info i needed they are one of a kind dr.kim made sure i was well educated about the surgery and after care he made sure i didnt need to ask any questions cause he gave me all the answers before i could ask which is good all in all i highly recommend dr.kim cause they have seminars and classes this dr. and his staff are very heart warming and welcoming people.

He seems to be a quiet man, but very knowledgeable. In the seminar I attended before deciding on the surgery, he went over the pros and cons about the surgery and answered any questions the attendees had. This helped to clear up the concerns I had about the surgery and got me going on having it done. The office staff and bariatric staff are fantastic. Followup care and support group are very helpful. Dr. Kim's bedside manner has not been that good for me (man of few words), but his surgical competence greatly makes up for it. I would recommend him to any of my friends.
