I met with Dr. Stone and my first impression of his was that he had genuine concern for everyone he spoke with. I had my husband and my best friend with me and he did everything he could to answer any questions or concerns that they had. He went over all possibile complications in detail but also assured us that he would do everything in his power to ensure the procedure goes smoothly. Everyone that I dealt with in his office was very kind and helpful in making sure I had the information I needed as well as helping me to make sure they had all the information they needed. Dr. Stone also stressed the importance of post surgery follow-up which is very important to the success of the surgery.

I at this point have only talked to him once. However, he was wonderful. He had all the time in the world for all my questions. His office staff was very plesant and helpful. There was talk of the all the risks of surgery and gains of surgery also. Working in the medical profession myself, I know any surgery has risk but was able to get specific questions answered. As far as how I would rate him. He is wonderful. He gave me his home email address to email him at any time further questions came up. Surgical competence far outweights bedside manner. In any relationships different people will feel differently. People have different needs.

Dr. Stone is an excellent Physician, he is very understanding and cares for his patients. He was extremely nice to my 10year old daughter and kept my husband, mother, and father up to date while I was having surgery and during my hospital stay. His staff at Holzer is excellent and very caring.

My first impression of Dr. Stone was that he was a very genuinely concerned man. He cared about what I was feeling and explained everything to me so that I could understand them. The office staff is great, they will go beyond their duty to help you. They do have an aftercare program, it is tailored to follow each patient very closely. Dr. Stone does go over the risks of the surgery with you and explains what could happen if there are any complications. Overall I would rate him and his staff as very good. I will elaborate more after my surgery.

Post Surgery: Dr. Stone and his staff were excellent during my stay at the hospital. There was always someone checking on me and making sure I was comfortable. I would recommend this surgery center to anyone. The only problem that I had with my stay was the day I was going home, my I.V. infiltrated and it took a while for them to get me something for pain, but this was the fought of the nurses not staying on the pharmacy. The doctor had already ordered it.

I have not seen Dr. Stickler yet. I am scheduled for his seminar on May 10, 2002.
