My first impression of Alan was that of an old classmate. He seemed so easy to talk to and he was very informative. He had a nutritionist and a dietician in the room with us at the time of our consultation. He explained everything about the surgery, food, problems post-op, and answered all our questions. Then he saw each of us one a one-on-one basis for a private consultation. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was very upfront about his experience and his expectations. I couldn't have asked for better.
Today I had my first meeting with Dr. Schuricht. I had this idea of him in my mind prior meeting him. Boy, was I wrong..smile. He was very informative about the procedure and other procedures. He noted possible complication of the procedure or any operation in general. I also met with his deitician. He was very informative also. I must admit everyone was very pleasant and down to earth. I was pleasing surprised. I could not have made a better choice. For first meets on a scale of 1-10. I would say a 10. But, let's see how great a surgeon he his..smile. I'm sure it will be excellent. Oh I forgot Chrissy! She was great!
Hello Everyone, i met with Dr. Alan Schuricht at Pennsylvania Hospital today (12/4/01) for my initial consultation....I only have good things to say about him, he explained the whole procedure, all the risks, the advantages, & the compliance which is needed Post-Op....I met with Dr. Schuricht & his dietician Rachel Griehs & felt very comfortable...They offer a support group which meets once a month & will start meeting more frequently in the future...Dr. likes to keep in touch with his patients Post-Op & mentioned setting up annual get togethers like at the zoo or somewhere else to see how everyone is doing...The office staff is very nice, easy to contact whenever i would happen to have any questions....I would rate Dr. Schuricht a 10 out of 10 & would recomend anyone to at least go & meet with him, i'm sure you would have the same opinion i do....
