I was very impressed with Dr Cribbins...He seemed very knowledgable and was able to answer anything that anyone at the seminar threw his way...He was very one on one if you had questions afterwards...Of course surgery is very serious and at his office you see how serious his nurses take their job and how quick they are to help...Yes Dr Cribbins is very young in appearance but is an elder when it comes to medicine related matters

When it comes to a "Major" thing in my life, I make sure to research the topic for about 6 months before I make an appointment. My first impression of him was how he let me talk while he was taking notes and listening. Short and to the point testing, and no dought to him that the lap band was the best solution for my problem. He is so good that even my back surgeon knew who he was and was impressed with his work. Dr. Cribbins is an analytical man that listens and finds the best solutions for your problem. As time went by, he has been a fun loving guy that goes straight to the problem to solve, and has always been there when I needed him. He even came in on a Saturday when I was too restricted. His staff is wonderful and they love to see friendly faces. He loves what he does, and he is very good at it too. I am very proud of myself with finding the best doctor, and I'm proud to pass him along to the next needed person. I rate him an over all 15 with everything. Great guy, and the best doctor.

My first impression of Dr. Cribbins, was "Oh my gosh he is just a little bit older than me and he is a real handsome man, which is not bad for the eyes". He has the best bed side manner and very intelligent and passionate about what he does. His staff was and still is wonderful. Overall I would rate Dr. Cribbins and his staff a BIG 10. I would recommend Dr. Cribbins to any and everyone.

Dr. Cribbins is a nice fellow and overall is a pretty good guy. Everyone in his office seemed to be responsive and I had no complaints. I think his orders are somewhat stingy with pain meds, but I know doctors are very concerned these days with addiction. I would recommend him and I understand he is one of the best in our area. I can't object.

I first read about Dr. Cribbins while researching doctors in the Dallas area. He made me feel comfortable from the start, and his seminar was very informative. His staff was courteous as well. I did not feel uneasy about his youth(he is my age), as some people did. I feel he has the necessary experience to perform my LAP-band surgery.

Dr. Cribbins and his staff have been wonderful, and I am so glad I found him. I would recommend him to anyone.

My first impression of Dr. Cribbins was that he has caring eyes. He seemed to really want to help me acheive my dream. I went to his seminar where he explains all the different weight loss surgeries in depth. Then he answered everyones questions. He is very knowledgable. I went for my first consult 2 weeks later. His office staff are very friendly and helpful. Sherly, his bariatric coodinator,was right on when she gave me all the insurance info. What she said would happen did. I was approved in less than 3 weeks. Dr. Cribbins didn't really talk about after care. But he did set me up with Psy-Med, they have LPC and Nutrition people. They have set me up well with a great aftercare plan. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great!!

Dr. Cribbins seems very young but he was a fantastic surgeon. I didn't have any problems with him, his staff or the hospital. The only thing I would say negatively is that there is no aftercare program at all.

From the first time that I met Dr. Cribbins I knew that he was the man that I wanted to perform my surgery. He was young and cute!!!! but that didn't hinder my decision. He was knowledgeable about all of the different types of surgery and explained the risks as well as the benefits. He even told me which of the surgeries he thought would be best for me. He explained everything in great detail and even allowed time for questions. His detailed explanations gave me time to think about the surgeries with the knowledge necessary to make the appropriate decision.
The only thing negative I can say (which doesn't have anything to do with Dr. Cribbins, but more his office staff) is that the office people do not return phone calls, but I understand they are busy and were working with me to get my surgery date scheduled quickly with my tight time frame. Lucky for me my aunt works at the same hospital as Dr. Cribbins and can stop in to his office to get the necessary information to me. Overall I would rate Dr. Cribbins at 10 out a 1-10 scale and his office staff I would rate about a 5.

I have my first visit on Aug 14.While I am so excited I am dissappointed the wait is so long .I hope that it wont be so long of a wait.I have met dr.cribbins he is very kind and takes what u say into consideration. he also looks very young but seems to know what he is doing and answeru the way u need to be answered. i work at 7-11 have met one of teh care givers for the or and she is young and kept telling me too that he looks like 12 but he is the best of the best and she asked me after i saw him on the 25 what i thought told her he is a sweetheart and melinda was very helpful when i was in office and she seemed to be very up to date on insurance info and it was a big change from speaking to her on phone just the very matter of fact with her on phone is proberly cause she is swamped while in the office nad is doing 10 things at once. she also told me any diet info send to the insurance would help dont leave anything out and to send it all.good luck to all of you hope to be on other side soon!

what can i say i have the most wonderful pcp in the world she and her staff are WONDERFUL! they have taken care of me since before wls but after wls they have done it all my surgeon releases u after three months i felt all alone and scared when i told my pcp this she was like u have us and we will do it dont worry and SHE HAS DONE WONDERFUL JOB! they cheer me on and have helped every step threw wls when i was down depressed or just plain not wnating put the efforts in she was there and her nurse amanda ur just a sweetheart she cares about each patient and gets to know them and relats to them makes them feel like it is gonna be ok THANKS DR.TRAN's OFFICE!!
