Dr. Cribbins was very informitive, answered all my questions and concerns. His bedside manner was great. rnHis office staff was very nice and helpful. Esp his coordinator Cheryl.

What was your first impression of him/her? rnHe seemed young, but he was a great surgeon to me and when he came to my room to see me he was very supportive and answered all my questions.rnrnHow did your impression change over time? When I went for my after visits it seemed as though they did not even know me and within the past week they have called me to come in for my yearly appointment, but I'm at a year and 1/2 so that does concern me about office organization.rnrnHow would you describe his/her office staff? rnStaff was friendly, but does not get excited about weightloss or make you feel special.rnrnWhat did you like least about him/her? THe lack of caring or friendliest from the staff.rnrnWhat should future patients know about him/her? He is a very nice man. He is very caring and quiet. HE IS A GOOD SURGEON AND DID A GOOD JOB ON ME! I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS FROM THE SURGERY at all.rnrnHow much does he/she emphasize aftercare? rnVERY little aftercare, no documents to tell me what I could and could not eat. Was very confused right after surgery as to exactly what to do.rnrnDoes he/she have a structured aftercare program? rnNot at all.rnrnHow did he/she address the risks of surgery?rnHe did emphasis this at the first meeting.rn rnHow would you rate him/her overall? He did a great job on me. He was there for me when I was in the hospital and was supportive of me when I was there and of my pain.rnrnWhich is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great? Great bedside manner and surgical compentence.rnrnOverall, I would highly recommend Dr. Cribbins. I think as an office for gastic bypass patients, there needs to be more organized to help you with care and what you need to do after surgery. However I've lost 155 lbs........and feel like One Million Dollars and will send my girlfriends to see him also. Bless him, he saved my life!! THanks you Dr. Cribbins... Sharon

I love Dr. Cribbins. Aside from the fact that he is super-cute, he has an incredible way about him that makes you instantly at ease with him. My first thought was that he was way too young to be a surgeon and he is young (around 37) I think but he is highly qualified and very thorough. He answered all my questions pre-op and has been very helpful thus far in the post-op process. rnrnThe only complaint I have is that he has no real post-surgery support group and the classes with the nut are in a group environment once a month.rnrn

My fist impression of Dr. Cribbins was that he was very knowledgeable. He knew how to talk to me without being condesending. rnrnHis office staff is great. Each of them has answered all of my questions without hesitation. I have received every phone call back. rnrnI have just been approved for surgery and will have surgery on the 31st of January. I will post more information as I go through the process.

My first impression was \"Wow, he's HOT!\" Immediately followed by \"Wow, he's YOUNG!\".rnImpression didn't change. Still think he's hot and young looking but maybe not as young as I first thought. I haven't found a thing I didn't like about him though I am told that I won't see him much after the surgery. He staff has been great so far and has really kept me posted on what is happening with my case. He did a seminar in the morning preceding my consult and answered most of my questions there. My only recommendation would be don't expect to get there and get speedy service, we sat for an hour before the presentation started.

My first impression of Dr. Cribbins was how young he looked. He was young enough to be my Son, however I soon came to realize he was a very competent surgeon after listening to him at his seminar. After the seminar I made an appointment to talk with him about Lap Band surgery. He answered all my questions and I was soon scheduled for surgery. The surgery went fine and Dr. Cribbins and his staff have been very professional and caring. I would recommend him to anyone wanting surgery for obesity.

My first impression of Dr. Cribbins at the seminar was \"Wow, he's young!\" He was very nice and very informative. It seemed that he was gearing most of the seminar around the lap band and only breifly hilighted the Open RNY (he doesn't do lap) and VGB. But when I asked him to elaborate during the Q&A session, he did so without hesitation. During my consultation, I still believe him to be very nice and courteous. Eventhough I felt that he and the nurses were rushed, I believe I made a good choice at having him be my surgeon. However, if I had not received so many recommendations to choose him, I probably would have continued to look elsewhere. Only because I kind of felt like a number. Dr. Cribbins was very personable, but neither nurse I met smiled at me...at all (one I don't think even looked up from her clipboard at all the whole time she was in the room). And he has no after care program. But when I voiced my concerns to someone else who was his patient, she told me that the nurses don't perform the procedure, the doctor does and \"a good bedside manner won't save your life in the OR.\" Also, I have a great PCP who can give me regular after care in the months/years following surgery.rnrnRegarding the surgery, I believe Dr. Cribbins and his Assistant did a terrific job. I'm 2 months out and so far (knock on wood) I've had no complications. I believe I made the right choice in choosing him. He also came to visit me in the hospital every single day I was there.

I knew that I wanted to have Dr. Cribbins do my surgery from the first moment I talked to him. He is so nice and very easy to talk to. I have met with him 2 times now (1 year apart) and he's great. I just love the staff there. Some of them even remembered me from last year! I am very happy with him so far, and I hope to actually get to have the surgery this time!

Absolutely wonderful. Very helpful. Have recommended already and only 1 week post-op.

Dr Cribbens and his staff were amazing. I would recomend him to anyone! Great bedside manner and always nice.
