I thought Dr. Andrei was very nice, and informative at our first meeting. He made me feel comfortable with the decision to have this surgery. The office staff is always on top of everything and helpful with every step and issue I had. They took care of all the paperwork necessary with minimal for me to do easing the process of things. Dr. Andrei and his staff explain in detail everything you need to know about the risks, aftercare, follow ups, etc. so there is no confusion. I would rate Dr. Andrei and his staff a 10. (10 being the best). I would say surgical competence is way better, however having a good bed side manner is great also. Dr. Andrei has both! I recommend him to everyone I speak to.

When I first came to the office of Dr. Andrei, I didn't know what to expect. The butterflies were present as well as the nervousness. However, everyone on the staff including himself made me feel like the procedure would change my life. And boy has it! Dr. Andrei walked and talked me through what I would expect. But, what really encouraged me was when I received the personal touch of his calling me at home and asking me if I had any questions. He let me know that I could call him at anytime with any questions or concerns. Since my procedure and the subsequent follow up visits, everything seems to be working out great. I'm already down 85 pounds in less than 6mos. So, I'm happy and working hard. I'm trying to make the 100 pound plateau by my 6mo anniversary. And I'll do it.

I really enjoyed meeting with Minnie. Because she has had successful bariatric surgery, she has answers for you. That fact alone makes her invaluable to the team. She understands the gas, the burping and the hiccuping. She really calmed my fears and misconceptions. I felt very confident after meeting with her.

I have gone to several different dietitians over the years. I have played with their plastic food, listening to their spiel and never returned. I have never met such an up-beat person as Pam. She knows who you are (not by looking at a list!)It's like sitting and having a conversation with a friend. She smiles, laughs, instructs and above all, she tells you what you CAN do, not what you CAN'T do. She has no problem explaining something again (and again. She has endless patience.

Dr. Andrei and his staff were very imformative pre & post surgery. Also available for questions & concerns. Surgery has already shown weight loss in short period of time, feeling a little stronger each day. Looking forward to the beginning of a new life style for myself & my family.

I'm very happy I went through the surgery. I hope it will bring me back to being myself again. I don't see any dramatic changes in me because surgery was perfomed recently but hope that after adjustment my life will be different.

Dr. Andrei is a good and qualified surgeon.rnHe is very cautious and experienced.rnHis bed side manner after the surgery is a little quick, you have to slow him down and get your questions answered. His office staff is awesome , resourceful and extremely helpful. There is an abundance of information you can receive daily from his office. The surgery was an ordeal which does encompass alot of pain and uncomfortableness. You have to eat and drink so slowly. The process is gruesome but definitely worth it as you see the pounds coming off. I'm only 2 weeks since surgery so I am still rating the other services.

Doctor Andrei was an excellent surgeon. I was referred to him by both of my parents who had the same gastric bypass 6 and 8 years earlier. Him and his entire team were very informative, helpful, and all around a perfect choice if you are thinking about getting this surgery. I am writing this two weeks after the bypass surgery, and I must say, I haven't felt this energetic in a long time. The surgery was done flawlessly, with minimal pain or discomfort. Anyone serious about planning to get this surgery or the lap band should definitely come see Doctor Andrei. I'm sorry, but I really do not have anything negative to say about Doctor Andrei and his staff.rnrnJust one bit of advice: make sure you are positive about this surgery. It is life altering, but not a walk in the park. Even with the short experience I've had with this surgery, if I had to do it all over again, I'd say, \"Yes.\" in a heartbeat.
